When the big hand says Thirteen Moon Calendar (http://www.canadafreepress.com/2004/cover082704.htm)
I came across the above article this morning, and if it is a serious thing, it may be the best news for Our Church. One thing this idea does would be to unite the Old calendar and New calendar people together, because both will see the insanity of fighting over a hair when the whole boat is about to sink.

Wow. Leave it to the U.N. I found this last paragraph to be very disturbing as well:

With all due respect to all involved, I don't think many Orthodox people in America know how part of the Church ended up using the papal calendar.

That article is some scary stuff. I'm usually on the skeptical side when it comes to associating current events with apocalyptics, but this is fairly disturbing.

During the French Revolution they also attempted to change the calendar. It came to naught then; I hope it comes to naught this time.

When I was a kid this guy lived down the road whose house was surrounded by a huge wooden fence with signs that said "U. N. Free Zone" and "Get Us Out of the U.N." He ran for governer every term on the Libertarian ticket. I used to think he was crazy. Now, I may vote for him next time.
