Over the past 2 days there has been 2 new releases of forum software, as well as new server software releases and a new server kernel.
As such, CF has been offline for a few minutes here and there as I spend time upgrading and securing the CF server.
I can now say that I've finally done all of it. :)
I apologise for any downtime. The server *should* be a bit quicker now.

Actually it is alot quicker. There were over 700 online yesterday, and it didn't even drag one bit on me. :)

Sorry, the server crashed, and we were offline for ?1 hour just now? I only found out just now and hard to manually reboot the hardware.
Things should be online now. :)

I did notice that and wondered what was going on. It's all good though because CF does seem faster.

I also seem to have stopped getting that "bleeding page" thing using MSN explorer. Good work!
Every time I notice CF is off line I have flashbacks to the Crash of '03...

The big crash... we lost 250,000 posts and 2,000 member information then... yikes!

Erwin, i wasnt here for it and things are running great.. but i was here for an upgrade a while back and i had just typed somethin really long and when i went to post i lost it.. needless to say it was frustrating, i was wondering when your about to do upgrades if you can alert everyone as to when, whether it be an announcement on the home page, or a MASS PM?
