Just wondering if anyone has ever fasted from talking and found themselves knee-deep in worship before they knew what hit em ?

Not lately. Fasting from talking hey? I barely say a word all day most days. I can stop and listen to myself occasionally, if thats what you mean. I can take a moment to dwell on the base emotion that is driving me at a particular moment, feel it, and muse upon its origins and future directions. Quite often this is an opportunity for a bit of one on one with God. My reactions could range from worship to wanting to crawl under a rock and disappear, depending on the revelation at the time.

Do I consider worship are warfare, not really. More, tuning in to God to discover his will for me, and reminding myself how great he is, and showing him my appreciation.

Do I fast from talking? I don't talk to myself as a rule, and when there's no one at home, there's no one else to talk to.

Do I find myself "knee deep in worship"? Not really, but I might feel quietly reverent and occasionally more deeply moved.

Different people, different styles, eh?

I did a 3 day fast and vow of silence...it was one of the most intense with God ever...not to mention the attacks ot the enemy during that time....it was amazing. I could still talk to God though by the way.....i did it while at an internship..and if some one can find way to get away for 3 days....straight with just them and God...and thats it...i highly recomend it!
