Never Alone

Some problems are easy to handle,
And I seem to do well on my own.
But when they're too heavy to carry,
I don't have to bear them alone.

For Jesus has promised to help me,
Whenever I make my needs known.
When the terror-filled storms rage around me,
I don't have to face them alone.

Sometimes I've had strength for the battle,
And I feel that great courage I've shown.
But when fear grips my heart midst the conflict,
I don't have to struggle alone.

For I trust in my Savior to hold me,
When all my bravado has flown;
And I know He will comfort and guide me,
And He never will leave me alone.
