I have 4 new years resolutions...to lose weight, to stop smoking, to exercise, and find myself properly! I put to lose weight on the poll. My new years already started...but I don't think my brain has yet as I'm still smoking, eating VAST ammounts, and doing nothing different! I hope I'll start working on them after the Christian new year has begun! (Cos if I don't I'm gonna die!)

Wow, there's a lot of 'I'm going to read the whole Bible, cover to cover this year' going on ...I think it's good that you want to spend more time catching up on your beliefs, but all of you who put that, don't force yourselves to read the whole Bible..if you're not enjoying it, there's no point, read it when you feel you want to read it, then go throught he parts you have read and understand it. If you read small parts each day, and enjoy reading it, you'll love it more, and I'm sure God doesn't want you to not enjoy it. ;)

Blessed Be xx

I guess to work on me and be with my husband.. I dont smoke so that helps I eat ok but need to eat properly. Just simple stuff mostly..

Lol, @ Dave.

Come on, brother, cut me some slack! I have lost 7 pounds, it's better than nothing!

Okay, okay. So I'm not done yet.

I will tell you this: Yesterday I gave away my size 4 jeans to my daughter. Because I don't think I'm ever going to fit back into them. I had a baby 2 years ago at age 44, and it's been really hard losing weight at my age.

I have worked so hard, and huffed and puffed, and sometimes went hungry (but not very often, lol)

I really hate going hungry. Guess that's why I've lost only 7 pounds.

I voted for reading the Bible cover to cover. I can't seem to do it. By the time I get to the part about how Lot's daughters got their father drunk and raped him in order to repopulate the world, I realize how bad a book it really is, I question how anyone could form a belief system around it.

I'd just as soon form a belief system around the works of Shakespeare. Or Harry Potter.

i don't even pretend to do new years resolution anymore. firstly, new years day is just a day in a calendar anyways, and secondly, if i want to do something, i'll just have to do it, i never really managed to follow up new year resolutions for a significant time span.
