"If you need to go out there and find something, get something, regain something- then go out there and find it! Don't let me stop you. I can't stop you, and i won't stop you. But know this, never ever blame someone else for your dead spirit, i did not do that to you, you did it to yourself.... I've been dead in spirit for years, and i've never, no matter how hard life has been for me blamed someone else...."
THIS IS WHAT IS SAID TO MY BOYFRIEND. AND I SAID IT WITH PRIDE IN MY HEART, WITH LOVE, AND WITH COMPASSION.
He decided that he would rather walk alongside me on this, he decided that he would much rather rebuild our relationship (that has been so lost for months now) than go alone. Now, here's the tricky part, at the time, i wanted that.... i really did. Today, however, i don't. Last night he told one of our co-workers (yup, we work together too, which doesn't make matters any easier...) that he gave us "a week" Am i being stupid in thinking that this is going to work out? Or should i take all these signs and do him a favour and probably myself a favour and bow out? Let him go his own way and find whatever it is he is looking for? In the process find what it is i'm looking for too?

I seem to have missed part 1 of this, and am not quite sure what you are saying.

Can you simplify at all?

Time will tell. Be patient, wait on the Lord, and run away from sin. If sin is envolved, it muddies the waters so that nothing can be seen clearly about what is true, pure, and of good report.

2Ti 2:22 Run from anything that stimulates youthful lust. Follow anything that makes you want to do right. Pursue faith and love and peace, and enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts.
