View Full Version : When does it occur?

Recently, in a thread I am participating in, someone stated, "Salvation occurs at the very moment Christ is accepted into an unbeliever's heart!"

If any of you believe this, could you please explain to me how a non-believer can accept Christ by faith? It seems a bit of an oxymoron to me that a person with no faith in God can accept something by faith.

Anyway, if you could explain this I would appreciate it.

God bless

Faith is given by God to those who are "called" to the kingdom of God.

We are called by the knowledge of God and that we offend God and must seek him.

The churches are here for that very purpose.

Faith is the beginning of Salvation.

Jesus says that He chooses us, we do not choose him.

The church must "accept" the truths of Christ, and be willing to be corrected by Jesus Christ. One must asked themselves, do i "accept" the words of Christ or do i "reject" his words because they are hard.

Confessing Jesus Christ is "agreeing" with Him and rejecting Jesus Christ is contradicting His words.

We are told that we must "work out our own salvation with fear"

"Fear" is the beginning of wisdom.

"Faith" is the beginning of our walk and "Charity" is the end.

I pray that the church considers of the Spirit says and Seek diligently what the truth is.

speaking truth by the Holy Spirit, serving Jesus Christ and God, our heavenly Father,
