I was thinking and meditating on the word the other day about Yeshua bringing the Torah during His reign. ABout world peace and justice ruling this earth during the messianic reign. The L-rd spoke to me this...
The christians operate in the revelatory about Messiah Ben Yosef, but are blind to Messiah Ben David. (Reigning King and Giver of Torah).
The Orthodox Jews operate in the revelatory of Mashiach Ben David, but are blind to Mashiach Ben Yosef. (The suffering servant) .
Messianics are the key to bridge this awesome gap. Remember though, no matter what your theology may be about who has more of the truth ( I personally believe the christians at least know His name and study His teachings and receive His gift)... that knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.

Good word JH.
I believe that it is the tribulation that will have the defining effect which will call all believers to take the one true path. Things will become polarized into the two streams spoken of in the scriptures. And the righteous path is for true believers, who keep the commandments of God AND have the testimony of Yeshua the messiah. We can see this polarization taking effect. It started in the 1960's and continues to grow each year. It took a big surge in 1998,as the church embraced openly all sorts of twisted flesh glorifiying doctrine. The nation (U.S.) also went to corruption as demonstrated by the presidency of Clinton and her husband who practiced every sort of unholiness. And the people rallied behind these corrupt leaders and said,"We don't care what they do in or out of the White House, just keep the economy strong and our money secure." In this the US declared the name of its true god, money, wealth, security, the god of fortresses. And many nations have done the same. Those individuals who would follow the truth now must face rejection by their party member, by their families, by their religious leaders and fellow churchmen. The Gospel of relativism and tollenence has replace the Gospel of truth and life. The end is in sight.

I really agree with you that one who is attempting to reconcile the totallity of scripture is uniquely positioned
I Corinthians 8
1Now concerning things offered to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies. 2 And if anyone thinks that he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know. 3 But if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him.
4 Therefore concerning the eating of things offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God but one. 5 For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many gods and many lords), 6 yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.
7 However, there is not in everyone that knowledge; for some, with consciousness of the idol, until now eat it as a thing offered to an idol; and their conscience, being weak, is defiled. 8 But food does not commend us to God; for neither if we eat are we the better, nor if we do not eat are we the worse.
9 But beware lest somehow this liberty of yours become a stumbling block to those who are weak. 10 For if anyone sees you who have knowledge eating in an idol's temple, will not the conscience of him who is weak be emboldened to eat those things offered to idols? 11 And because of your knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died? 12 But when you thus sin against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ. 13 Therefore, if food makes my brother stumble, I will never again eat meat, lest I make my brother stumble.
We must be careful to identify what "knowledge" is being talked about. Knowledge of Adonai is NEVER a bad thing ;)

Reminds me of something the L-rD gave me awhile back and I wrote it down and posted it on my BB so I wouldn't forget it.
Christianity is a religion of justification, True Judaism is a religion of sanctification.

I view Yeshua as "the suffering servant, who is a giver of the Torah, and is G-d Incarnate (King), reigning forever."
Perhaps the interpretation of Yeshua as a "King" has been poor in the revelatory of Moshiach Ben David, and when "King" is said it is implying G-d?
We have spoken of bridging the gap, I'm just trying to bridge it ;)
Love in Yeshua,
