Cell Churches

I'm just curious.

I am wondering how many Christians on here attend a cell church?

I attend a cell church in NYC and I would like to know more and hear glory stories of how God has multipled the people. How many here have caught the vision and how many years did it take to catch the vision?

I am a bit <sighs> feel unfocus or should I say not winning people to Christ. I can't really find the term now. What am I doing wrong? I thought the prayer of 3 is suppose to work.

Well if anyone who is a member of a cell church, please give me some words of encouragement or guidance. I want my first three by the end of this year!

I want to see people connected to Christ so that they be leaders winning others to Christ.

I'm pretty sure that my church is not a cell church. My church is just a normal brick building church. It's nice though. We have Awana and a few clubs such as "Singles Meeting Singles" and "Friendly Slimmers" which is a weight loss club. We have quite a few ministries. I really like the church that I go to even though I don't agree with all of their doctrines! I do agree with most of their doctrines though.

I'm not in a cell church but know of a group that was started specifically for people who have left the church and for the time being do not feel comfortable in that environment. They advertise occasionally but it is mostly word of mouth that creates the growth. Not sure if that helps as this group is not really a cell church but the group evolved to fit a need, perhaps most cell churches start that way aswell in a way.

Well cell churches have the vision to mulitple. The main thing about cell churches is that EVERY member is a believer.

But I have a question for you. What do you mean that you like the church, but you don't agree with all their doctrines? Is it a bible beliving and biblical church? If it is, then you are not agreeing with God when you are not agreeing with the doctrines because the bible is God-breathed. If you are not in a bible beliving church or a biblical church, then you should find one that does. The authority of any church should be Christ and his word only.

I don't know about you or your church, but whatever it is, I hope that God will grow you as we are all trying to be more like Jesus Christ. :)
