Our Lord Himself spoke of him as the one who should 'come in his own name,' and who would be 'received' by Israel (John 5:43).
John 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

Isn't G-D's name Jahova? That is what my neighbor told me, she is a Jahova's Whitness. Does that answer your question, or did I miss the point?

The apostle John mentions him and declares that he will deny both the Father and the Son (1 John 2:22).
1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

IN THIS POST YOU WILL SEE THE NAME OF G-D. DO NOT TAKE HIS NAME IN VAIN. THANK YOU.

This is a drawing of the Hebrew Name for G-d that I did not too long ago. From the Hebrew, this means Yod Hay Vod Hay. This is why you will see "YHVH" used in the forums often. The transliteration is YHWH, which comes from Yod Hay Wah Hay.
In the English:
Y is pronounced either I, J, or W
H is pronounced Ah
W is pronounced Ou
H (the second H) is pronounced Eh
This is literally pronounced as "YAH OU WEH," or "Yahweh."
The Greek consists of all of the Greek vowels, being Ioda, Alpha, Avatron, Oupsalon, and Epsilon. "I AH OU EH," in the English.
Now, the letter J was invented in 1630. Before this time, there was no J and Y was used. Here's some more information...
In Hebrew, the name of G-d is http://www.madbbs.com/users/tjohnson/G_D.jpg.
In the KJV translation, it is LORD.
The consonants of LORD are YHVH.
The vowels of LORD are ADONAI.
The hybrid Name (of the consonants and vowels) is YAHOVAH, which when the letter J was invented became "JAHOVAH," and NOT "Jehovah."
You can now see the similarities in the name of Jesus (Y'Shua, Yeshua, or Yahshua) and the Name for G-d, YHWH (Yahweh). Interesting, isn't it?
There may be a mistake or two on this page. If there is, please correct me. I am not a scholar like some of you! :P

Has this answered your question or do you look for something different?

John 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
Please take a closer look at the verses. The one that will be received by Israel is the "one who comes in his own name". You know, Lucifer, Satan....but come on....how can this world bow down to him if he comes in his own name. Unless they have become that evil, that they willingly, knowingly worship him. HOw is that for an abomination beyond belief.

because they now know only their own name...... they submit willing to no other..... unless he promises them everything they think they want - cradle to grave, guaranteed and free while sounding oh so compassionate and caring for "my" woes......

Ah I understand. The part that threw me off was that you capitalized "His." Sorry about that. I hope that my previous post was informative, though! ;)

This is very shocking, but I have been lead to believe that his name will be "The One." I know that this is not his actual name... but I don't know. Very interesting topic, I do say.

But henny
It says " in His own name" And so he will - there is nothing quite so attractive to the rebellious soul (and especially rebellious populace) as a proud successful "self-made" man - who does things "my way" {think sinatra}!!!!

Up til I read that verse with new eyes, I had always thought that Satan will do a great imitation of "Jesus Christ".....and now that I just typed it, that may be still right. What if that is "his own name"?

Referring to G-d, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit:
KJV/Christianity:
Lucifer
Jehovah
Holy One of Israel
Holy Ghost
Lord Jesus Christ
Godhead
New Versions/New Age:
morning star
Lord
One
Spirit
Lord
diving being
Perhaps "his name" lies within the New Age mentality. Such as "the One." He may call himself "the morning star," which is a false translation found within NIV, NASB, and other new translations of the sort. Instead of calling Lucifer Lucifer, he is called "the morning star." As you know, Jesus Christ is referred to as the "morning star."
Revelation 22:16
Perhaps the antiChrist will say something like this: "I am the One, the bright and morning star!" That would deceive Christians and non-Christians alike :o

"In His Own Name"....you may be right Ryan, Yasatora...there may be something to the name of Satan (Lucifer) that he will use to deceive the whole world. All I can say is it better be a good one, to encompass all the religions. "The One" could be it, like you said new age is moving that name up the ranks of books and minds of men.

Oooh yeah... I recommend reading the book "New Age Bible Versions."
There is a quote in the book from Robert Muller, the U.N. Assistant Secretary General.... "I would suggest a meeting of the world's religions... My great personal dream is to get a tremendous alliance between all major religions and the U.N... a completely new world in the making, a new age."
Is Robert Muller still in office? Because um... it's frightening.
 Avoid the U.N. at all costs!

John 5:43
I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
This is Hebrew idiom at work, What Yeshua is referring to in saying "his own name" is this: in his own authority. Now concerning Yeshua coming in His Father's Name, this isn't saying that the Name Yah or Yahweh or YHVH is a part of His own Name like "Yahshua", but that He comes in His Father's authority. Yahshua isn't a proper Hebrew Name, Yod-He-Shin-Vav-Ayin is actually a dyslexic rendering of Y'hoshua Yod-He-Vav-Shin-Ayin, switching the Shin and the Vav around.

AH! And think, all of this because of the difference in a Greek and Hebrew mindset. D'oh! Thanks for the clarification!
