To Life Immortal

I love chanting for the church! I want to be a good chanter and I would love to practice while I'm home. (Last Sunday, the weather was dangerous and we had a flood in some areas.) I would like to know where I can get sheet music for the chants. I know 'Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal by heart and I know what they chant during Great Entrance. ( I like the part about representing the cherubim). The way this is chanted in the Greek church is really awesome. There is a Russian church in Northern Liberties with a beautiful choir that I love to listen. Awesome 4 part Russian harmonies! One of the chanters in my church is an older Lebanese gentleman who chants in Arabic during receiving the Eucharist. It is hauntingly beautiful; I wish you guys could hear it!

If anyone knows where I can get and/or see the music, especially the tenor part, online, please let me know. Thank you in advance and happy fasting!

Here's a couple of links. It's hard to find sheet music because so much of it is passed on by word of mouth (or song of mouth :))

I wish there were more resources online, but at my parish, being so small, we are lucky to have one person who can actually read sheet music. I learned the responses in the liturgy by ear, and I am working on those blasted things that change from week to week.

For the texts in Matins that come out of the Nassar book, we improvise-chant. :)

I think the Antiochian Village puts out a book of sheet music for Vespers, Matins, and Liturgy as they are done at the Village. I'll try to find it online. We use that book sometimes at my parish and it helps.
