Dr Spock is a Vulcan that lives by a set of philosophy rules that dictate his behavior. His mind can't even make a wrong descision from greed or personal benifit because he is so conditioned by the rules he lives by and rules are the foundation of civilization.

In Star Trek the motion picture he tells a lie and Captain Kirk grins at him in amazement because he broke his own rules and we are left with Spocks dry smile, that's not really a smile but you can see his eyes laghing.
I think that was the best part of the movie cause we don't expect Spock to defy his rules but we have to Remember that Spock is half Human.
I think Vulcans are the Jews and the humans are the gentiles and I think we all know who them mean Klingons are.

Yes, those dirty klingons ;)

Interesting, Spock... *ahem* Lenard Nemoy... introduced many Jewish tidbits into the shows/movies. For example, "Live long and prosper" is the essence of the Aahronic Blessing. As well, to make the Aahronic Blessing one makes the exact same hand shape except with both hands, places them together, and stretches their arms out over the congregation... I'll see if I can dig up a picture to show you.

Basically, I'm sayin that the Vulcan blessing is the Aahronic blessing... in disguise ;)

'Live long and prosper" is the Reader's Digest version of the aaronic benediction too ;) Both Shatner and Nemoy are Jewish - they incorporated numerous things borrowed from Judaism and Jewish culture - Remember the Nazi planet? Also who remembers a planet called Dalet4??

Also who remembers a planet called Dalet4??I knew there was something to my feelings about that but I could never proove it,looks like you guys can.Spock's father is also called Sarach I believe, there is something always wrong with that dude and how there is always a battle within himself,I don't know how to spell it but it sounds an awfull lot like Sirach.Isn't that something they found at Quamran? the book of Sirach? It's also funny how they continued with Spocks father on Generations and as I remember, he mind melts with Picard, that gives them a special relationship.I'de like to sit down and talk to the writers and see all the symbolism with everything, even making friends with Warf probably means something. The only good thing about Klingons is how they say goodbye to dying Klingons when they hold their eyelids open looking up screaming.that's cool

Isn't that something they found at Quamran? the book of Sirach? The Book of Sirach (also known as Ecclesiasticus) is a book along the lines of Proverbs, a wisdom book.

It is a deuterocanonical book, and one of the longest ones at that.

In the Next Generation episode "Data's Day", Data records in his personal log that the Festival of Lights is being celebrated.By the way,Check the glasses and recognize that I have died and now I am resurected as neo.I keep these glasses on because my eyes are too powerfull. At any moment if I took my glasses off,it would hipnotize anyone who saw my eyes. The force is within me and I must shield my eyes.

I bid on these glasses in the auction and I was the only one who bid on them.I offered up all the blessings I had and it was way over the asking price and then the asking price changed by 4000 blessings and I was shot down.
In my other life I was a whiner and I said something to plan 9 and BAM.

Next thing ya know,I get a gift.I'm not talking about a physical gift.I recieved a spiritual gift.

A warning to all, these Matrix cool rays allows me to see inside all your sins and while I have them on,Know that it's not you sinning,it's me.I made you do it.
It's Plan9's fault,she gave me the glasses

The Book of Sirach (also known as Ecclesiasticus) is a book along the lines of Proverbs, a wisdom book.

It is a deuterocanonical book, and one of the longest ones at that.

Mr.Spock's father's name is spelled "Sarek", but the pronuciation is the same for most Americans, and Star Trek, like all good science fiction, attempts to show us our struggle to live our lives in our world today by mirroring it in later centuries.
As a result, episode tend to allude to believers' situations, rather than speak openly of them. For that reason, the reference in "Data's Day" is one of the few which are direct.
Seven of Nine is referrred to as having received a redeeming gift, one which restores her freedom to choose after eighteen years of absolute mental and physical slavery, and she is returned to a now bizarre existance, which she doesn't even recall, and isn't certain she wants.
The Bajorans of the series Deep Space Nine struggle to retain their faith, which is in collision with that of other cultures after many thousands of years of isolation and peace.
"What does it mean to be Bajoran?" is a question which every member of that species must now ask, now that change has been forced upon them. "How do we make our way in this new universe, with its unfamiliar beings and their sometimes strange and opposing beliefs, both as a people and as individuals?" is another which must be answered, and answered now. "How do we live with the violence we both endured and commited in order to win our freedom?" is a third.

As Rooster has pointed out, Lord of the Rings is more bait for the unwary, and G-d certainly used both to catch me. :)
The questions which Bajorans must ask themselves are quite similar to the questions the Hobbits of the Fellowship must ask themselves.
They are the questions to which we ourselves must know the answers today, along with Seven of Nine's, which are, "Who am I now, Annika Hansen or Seven of Nine, or both?" and "How do I work out the gift I have received in order to make a new life for myself?"
