Just checking in to let everyone know about our nightmare weekend! Dave and I were in a car wreck yesterday about 5:30. A car rear-ended us going at a high speed. They ended up flying me to San Diego so a plastic surgeon could fix my forehead. 4 inches was missing from it. Dave found the hunk of skin this evening in the truck gross ! I couldn't believe how big it was. They thought I had a skull fracture but the God it was fine. I'm really sore my right eye is swollen but the doctor said I should be good as new in 6 months. The helicopter ride was fun. Dave is ok he's pretty sore with a few bruises. He had a hat on so it saved his head. We almost went through the back window. It was pretty wild. I had 15 people in San Diego with me. Family is great! My pastor and Marilyn were on their way to Sizzler and pasted the accident right after it happen. So they stopped and went to the hospital with us and prayed with us. Isn't God's timing great!! Sharon and Dick were there right away too. Their son heard the accident while he was working and he called them. We will be fine just pretty tired and sore. I'll check back with you soon.
