I'm trying to split my thread versus I don't understand to spertate ones so I can read the answers easier

Snowy I'll try to give you some brief opinions that hopefully will help you.Jesus was sent by God to present a new message that updated and modified some old testament teachings due to the increased social sophistication of the world's population.I do not believe that Christians have to follow any old testament teachings unless they are repeated or referred to in the new testament. So I'll briefly comment on the new testament verses you listed.

The OT Testament is Scripture just as much as the New Testament. When the early church put together the NT Canon of books they also made a deliberate determination that the OT books are still a part of Holy Scripture.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The full Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, was there at the Creation when the world was made with wisdom. The OT teaches us much about God that is not repeated in the NT. The NT quotes the OT profusely and is dependent upon it to provide context and meaning for the message of the NT. The NT does fully reveal a new covenant that is better than the covenant of the law of Moses. However, even this new covenant, is richly foretold in the OT. God has made many precious promises to give Grace to His people. These promises are foretold in the OT but fully revealed in the NT.

Righteousness does not come for us by the works of the law because we all come short of keeping the law. However, the law is good if a man uses it lawfully. Jesus did keep the law. His works were perfect. The righteous works of Jesus Christ are counted as our own if we walk with hearts that believe in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ as revealed in the OT and NT. There is much about the Lord Jesus Christ that we learn only in the prophecies of the OT (including Psalms, Isaiah, Micah, more). The law in the books of Moses reveal to us the holiness of God's character and more. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable.

Agree. Take note that during Christ's time, the disciples only had the OT to guide their life. Additionally, the OT had prophecies that pointed to stuff in "bible times". And it seemed the OT was sufficient for their salvation already. What's different in the NT is the added prophecies it had for OUR future in that in the same way the OT pointed to Christ's death, the NT further elaborates by pointing forward to Christ's coming. Of course the NT talks some other things too, just that the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation stand out at this time i write.

Quite true. It is unfortunate that some latter took it upon themselves to edit it.

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable....I hate to state the obvious, But we are no longer under the law. Jesus Christ's coming took the place of the law. Yes the Messiah was fortold in the Old Testement. And yes, I believe that Jesus was the Messiah that was prophesised. And I'm not saying that the Old Testement has no value. Of course it does. But, as far as your statement that Jesus keept the law, I think if you look into it, you'll see that that statement is contradictory to what the Bible says. Why do you think the Jewish leaders wanted him crucified? Because he obeyed the laws of the Old Testiment? Certainly I could quote you several references that prove that Jesus rebuked the law. But I don't believe in doing anyone elses legwork. I'm sure if you are so inclined you will find them very easily.

I apologize, but I can not agree with what you've said. Not when it's contradictory to the word of God. I hope you delve a little deaper into the Bible for what it will reveal to you about this subject.
