Brethern, I need your prayers and wisdom from anyone that's dealt with this before. For some people, this is hard to admit, but I have a problem with lust. One of my greatest gifts of The Spirit is love. My favorite verse of the Bible is 1st Corinthians, Chapter 13. The problem is that ever since me and a girl I truly loved broke up, in my depression and loneliness, I fell into buying girlie mags like FHM and Maxim... even Playboy. As I came to get use to the internet, my problem with lust worsened as I fell into porn. My lust even lead me to have an affair with a married woman. Now that I've returned to The Lord and being involved in the church as a helper with the pre-kindergarten class, I feel a need to shake this horrible curse, but I'm having a hard time doing it. There are times when I'm using my computer when I feel like I just have to see porn and that leads to masturbation. I'm tired of this and I need serious prayers to help me break this final stronghold in my heart. It may be awhile before I check back on this thread because I'm considering fasting from my laptop and my PS3 so that I can learn to beat this temptation before I power them back up! All prayers are welcomed and I pray that all that do pray for me receive blessings of prosperity and happiness for the rest of their lives! In Jesus name, Amen!
