If you live at home and your mother and father is OK with that, then you should just ask God for guidance for what to do. If your parents says that you should get a job, you should listen to them. If they are OK with you staying home a while, there is other things you can do, you can help in the house for example, this is work too. But I don't recommend just doing nothing for a long time, and making this a habit. I am on disability for a mental illness myself, and I stay home all day, and this is no life, it is no pleasure only staying at home when this is where I am all the time. It would be more of a pleasure if I could come home after doing something useful.
But to answer directly to your question: No, I don't think it is a sin, but God wants us to work and do something useful other then just sitting inside a house and letting the life slide away.

I guess it depends upon what you are doing. I have a 21 year old son who is not only pursuing a College degree but also cares for me. (I am disabled) He also helps with the housework. Although not working he could hardly be considered slothful. However if he was simply staying at home because he didn't want to work, wasn't pursuing an education and didn't contribute to the home in any way then I would say that's slothful. I am not sure that your location is an accurate indicator of sloth as much as what you are doing with your life.
Don't despair. Pray and ask God for direction. He never disappoints.

Seems like you are at a crossroads, maybe trying to figure out where to go next with your life. Its not sinful to ponder your future and try to make a well thoughout decision on where to go next. That's not being lazy or slothful. Its important to focus on your education and pray that if the Lord wants you to find employment, he will help send something your way.
