They have emerged as many Christian religious denominations, each with different rules and regulations that have nothing to do with the Gospel, following the reading is an example of the true church of Jesus who does not have a name but a behavior:

The servers of the Lord, have gifts of the Holy Spirit, with whom and through his preaching, aim to gather disciples for Jesus the only teacher, make known God's word, the Gospel of Jesus, is the highest praise to God a server can do.

The talents are nothing other than the gifts of God to carry out the mission to know God, and Jesus behind us forward

One who received more gifts, more disciples made to the Lord, to which most have, more will be asked

One who received two gifts or talents, did likewise, won two more disciples for the Lord in this way was will constitute the Church of Christ, are people who may not know each other, but are united by their faith "and his behavior according to what the Lord calls, and the only rule that follow, are laid down the Gospel, there is no hierarchy among them.

We must be aware that the main thing is our faithfulness to the Lord, doing what it asks us not to follow doctrines of men who know nothing of the things of God.

One who received two talents received the same reward that of the five talents, God does not qualify our work by how much, but because of our loyalty, or faith "

God does not need anything, on the contrary, all we need him, God educates, teaches us things that neither dream, strengthens our souls, gives us strength of character and makes us aware of the Divine love, his love, and for our part We must be faithful, even if what God ask us, this not agree with our views, in fact can not be equal, since we are mere mortal and fallible, but God is omnipotent, wise, perfect and rich in love.

Love is different from money, if we give money at some point we can not give more, on the other hand, if we give love, more love grows in us, and so on, more love we have, and if not we give love, we lose, like what happened with which received a talent and hid him.

We are all useless, but with the gifts of God, we are very useful for everyone.

14 6 (http://www.usccb.org/nab/bible/matthew/matthew25.htm#foot6) "It will be as when a man who was going on a journey 7 (http://www.usccb.org/nab/bible/matthew/matthew25.htm#foot7) called in his servants and entrusted his possessions to them. 15 To one he gave five talents; 8 (http://www.usccb.org/nab/bible/matthew/matthew25.htm#foot8) to another, two; to a third, one--to each according to his ability. Then he went away. Immediately 16 the one who received five talents went and traded with them, and made another five. 17 Likewise, the one who received two made another two. 18 9 (http://www.usccb.org/nab/bible/matthew/matthew25.htm#foot9) But the man who received one went off and dug a hole in the ground and buried his master's money. 19 After a long time the master of those servants came back and settled accounts with them. 20 The one who had received five talents came forward bringing the additional five. 10 (http://www.usccb.org/nab/bible/matthew/matthew25.htm#foot10) He said, 'Master, you gave me five talents. See, I have made five more.' 21 His master said to him, 'Well done, my good and faithful servant. Since you were faithful in small matters, I will give you great responsibilities. Come, share your master's joy.' 22 (Then) the one who had received two talents also came forward and said, 'Master, you gave me two talents. See, I have made two more.' 23 His master said to him, 'Well done, my good and faithful servant. Since you were faithful in small matters, I will give you great responsibilities. Come, share your master's joy.' 24 Then the one who had received the one talent came forward and said, 'Master, I knew you were a demanding person, harvesting where you did not plant and gathering where you did not scatter; 25 so out of fear I went off and buried your talent in the ground. Here it is back.' 26 His master said to him in reply, 'You wicked, lazy servant! 11 (http://www.usccb.org/nab/bible/matthew/matthew25.htm#foot11) So you knew that I harvest where I did not plant and gather where I did not scatter? 27 Should you not then have put my money in the bank so that I could have got it back with interest on my return? 28 Now then! Take the talent from him and give it to the one with ten. 29 12 (http://www.usccb.org/nab/bible/matthew/matthew25.htm#foot12) For to everyone who has, more will be given and he will grow rich; but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. 30 13 (http://www.usccb.org/nab/bible/matthew/matthew25.htm#foot13) And throw this useless servant into the darkness outside, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth.'

SAYS PAUL

1 Cor 1:26-31 (http://www.nccbuscc.org/nab/bible/1corinthians/1corinthians1.htm#v26)

Consider your own calling, brothers and sisters.
Not many of you were wise by human standards,
not many were powerful,
not many were of noble birth.
Rather, God chose the foolish of the world to shame the wise,
and God chose the weak of the world to shame the strong,
and God chose the lowly and despised of the world,
those who count for nothing,
to reduce to nothing those who are something,
so that no human being might boast before God.
It is due to him that you are in Christ Jesus,
who became for us wisdom from God,
as well as righteousness, sanctification, and redemption,
so that, as it is written,

How about belief that the bible is the Word of God from Genesis to Revelation as a qualification?

How about the belief that the bible is the only rule of faith?

How about the belief in salvation by grace alone through faith in Christ?

How about the belief that Jesus IS God?

I could go on..

the point is.. it is the basic tenements of Christianity that are going to show one of Jesus' churches.

Jesus says, By their fruits you know.

If you read the bible and practiced what is written, justice, mercy, equity, and so on.. .... you will see their own fruit.

Faith, "is to do what God calls in the Bible, not God do what you want, because maybe you ask things that you should not.

All human beings we were saved by grace, now you need to accept that salvation is doing what God asks, if you do not, you reject God.

If you practiced his Gospel, you will can see to Jesús, is proof that He is also God, and you are part of his Church.

Jesus said those who hear and do the fathers will ; who lay down their lives (agendas) for their fellow christians....who take up their cross and follow him

James says those who take care of the poor and needy (alms)

or we can vent, argue, and throw mud about the seat and keys of Aaron and his seed and Peter and the oversight of the church...and accomplish nothing....

billy sunday said sitting in a garage, does not make you a car, anymore than sitting in a church ...catholic, protestan, jewish, moslem, hindu, etc. makes you a christian or religious.....

what is the fruit of our faith...what are we doing with the words of life and the ministry of reconciliation?

Lets take a look at the Lords church, ok. Acts 7:37 This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.
7:38 This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:

Lets read it in the Old Testament...Deuteronomy 18:18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

That prophet is Jesus. Lets go to John 5:46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.
5:47 But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

Brothers and Sisters you have to start reading the whole Bible.

Can you see how I just connected, the Church, Moses, and Jesus, with these
scriptures. See, the Church started in the Wilderness, so I find it amazing how
people started putting all these different names and doctrine on their churches.

Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Genesis to Revelation people.

Peace in Jesus name

oh the word 'church'

how it has been disfigured.. twisted.. and molecoddled to mean many different things.

the Catholic concept- is that is a universal, visible body of Christ
the Protestant concept- is that it is a universal, invisible body of Christ

well how about the biblical concept!?!

the body of Christ.. is the 'church' which in the Greek New Testament- is an 'ekklessia'-

an assembly or congregation

every believer living and dead is part of the Kingdom of God, it is not the body of Christ! They aren't the same thing.

the body of Christ is a local congregation or assembly.. just like a 'body of water' or 'the post office' or 'the bar' or 'the school'..

it is singular standing for plural..

So you say.. it is both universal and local

what kind of body is that?!!

the body of Christ is either local or universal.. but it can't be both.. it destroys the analogy of a body if it is both

if it is a universal body.. it is disjointed.. out of place.. and pretty much non-functioning..

if it is a local body-- like a body of water... an ekklessia- a congregation or assembly-- it can be functioning.. closely connected.. not disjointed.. because unity in an assembly or congregation becomes possible and achievable.

Unity in a universal body of Christ? Close to impossible!

that isn't what the bible means when it talks about unity in the church.. unity in the church is unity in an assembly or congregation!

I am part of the Kingdom of God.. and a member of a body of Christ.. an assembly. They are not the same thing.

Let me add a little more

Church, it means community, united in common, a small town or a big city, are community.

In principle, are united by performing the tasks, although they are different, are a function of all, a doctor, an architect, a baker, a driver, etc..

However, there are important divisions within each community, different criteria, different ways of dealing with life, there is selfishness, vanity, violence, etc..

The Gospel shows a behavior that leads us to combat these differences through love of neighbor, with a view to the next life where there is neither possible the evils of this world.

For these reasons, Jesus said, why they call me Lord? and not do what I ask? -- This will not belong to his Church, but if we do, we will be within his Church.

A congregation or a meeting takes place to learn and unite criteria, to avoid disunity or differences in the community, but success depends on God if we accept its precepts, not those of men.

Jesus doesn't have any churches?

Okay....... let's start with this:

Jesus and His disciples:

* shared their faith carrying out the great commission,

* had Jesus as the Head,

* were a 'called out' assembly, which defines part of what a church is,

* had the Lord's Supper.. which is a church ordinance.. started with Jesus and His disciples

* they met together for teaching from Christ

* the disciples ended up helping to and planting churches under the authority given them by Christ..

if this doesn't show a church in action.. I don't know what does.

from this point.. you have the establishment of the churches in the New Testament.. at Jerusalem.. at Ephesus.. at Corinth etc.. all set up from people who had the authority from Jesus Christ to establish these churches by the baptism given them.

So.. Jesus as the Head of each individual congregation, with His authority to be His congregations through the baptism given them which is linked ultimately to the disciples baptism.

Mt 18:17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.

What church is this?

It is before Acts.. and is of an assembly, (Greek word for church: ekklessia, which is an assembly or congregation) where matters can be settled between followers of Christ, brothers.

It is a reference to Jesus' congregation or assembly with His disciples.

Jesus died for every one so that who ever believes in Him will have eternal life.. and He also died for His local congregations that He endorses as His own, through the authority given them by His Holy Spirit.
