Hi my name is Jenny I have newly accepted Christ, I dont have any christian friends yet so I thought this might be a good place to start. I recently joined a church in my town and bought a bible. I just dont know where to start. I am very excited about having Christ in my life now and already I feel more whole and less alone. Does anyone have advice for me?

Im happy to hear you are excited about being a part of Christ. I personally believe that you need to build yourself up a good foundation in Gods Word. Thats always the best place to start. Get together with some mature Christians and maybe even find a good mentor, one that is filled with the Holy Spirit who can help you in your trials :)
Fellowshipping with other Christians is very important and I think maybe finding a good bible study group would be great for you, if you cant find a good one at a church than maybe start your own
Since you are now joining Christ you are now a threat to satans kingdom and he will do everything to throw you down and away from your relationship with Christ. Having a relationship with Christ gives you the power to overide satan and his spirits. So therefor prepare for some spiritual warfare and dont be afraid for God is with you till the end. Id like to remind you this is also a great reason to get a strong foundation in His Word.
The enemy will try to twist Gods Word around on you (He knows it like the back of his hand) and will try to cause you problems..
Keep the Faith :) and welcome to CF!
Ps your avater looks so like your RL pic ^_^ your very beutiful ;)

There could be lots of things to tell you, but if I would be to only tell one thing, then it would be:
John 10,27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
Be at peace, and don't fear anything. What you have chosen will make you live forever and nothing can ever take this away from you.

Yes. My first advice: Welcome to the family of Christ! Feel it!
You're new. Sometimes you'll run into people who will tell you "Oh, you have to be x or y to be part of this family".
To Jesus "so little is needed, just one thing." You've said that one thing, if it's true, then =shrug= no stopping you!
Go and learn and love others in the family, and love and rely on Christ. I hope you've found a church that will encourage it all, and will help you train yourself with skills for this.

Welcome to the family!
It is wise for you to seek out Christian friends. It is important for those who belong to the body of Jesus Christ to stick together. That way we can encourage each other in the Lord and help each other to grow in Christ.
Now, one thing that a lot of people neglect to do is to memorize Bible verses. Yet, this is one of the most important things for a believer to do.
I wrote a short article to explain why this is important. You can find it here: Bible Memorization (http://www.thebiblepost.com/bible-memorization/)
May the Lord greatly enrich you with peace and wisdom as you continue to seek first His kingdom and righteousness!

Just remember one thing the when you have a problem, stop and pray to GOD, rely on him and him alone. As someone else stated the devil will be knocking. Every time you think of doing something sinful pray to GOD to remove that evil thought from your mind. Believe in him from your whole heart. I will pray for you!!! An remember that when you find a church that its teachings and customs or from the Bible and the Bible only.
