When God's not moving, TB just goes ahead and moves God. Somehow, I doubt that.

Just once, I wish someone would post more than a 32 second clip of something...
First, I'm left wondering at the beginning of the clip, "How does it happen", since this is where the video editing genius decided the clip should start. How does what happen? And second, the clip cuts off right in the middle of a sentence.
It would be amazing if someone would actually post a clip in its entirety, or at least an entire, unedited segment.

Are you kidding me??? Another Todd Bentley video??
Why are people so obsessed with this guy???
Did he kick your dog or something??
What did he do to you?

It's like reading Scriptures, we should read the verse prior to a particular verse and after that verse to get the real meaning. Yep, I agree that a 90 second clip proves nothing.
But, we all know that the only way to move our Lord Jesus Christ is through prayer. So maybe his lesson was on "Prayer"?
Be blessed in Jesus' Name.

If you all really want to have your preconceptions and misconceptions about prayer shaken up (in a good way) ... Moriah recommends this:

I agree with TB on this one. The gifts and calls of God are without repentance. I have a friend who doesn't need God to make money, he was given a gift. He can use that gift without God, and if he trusts that gift, it will become a god to him. TB in this is saying he has a gift where miracles can happen even if God doesn't show up, but you can only go on gifting for so long.
That's what I get from it.

Luke 18
The Parable of the Persistent Widow
1Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. 2He said: "In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men. 3And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, 'Grant me justice against my adversary.'
4"For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, 'Even though I don't fear God or care about men, 5yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won't eventually wear me out with her coming!' " 6And the Lord said, "Listen to what the unjust judge says. 7And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? 8I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?"
The woman was not condemned as arrogant, but her faith and persistance were praised.

I figured someone would say that. I guess I would like to know in what context you would consider it as acceptable doctrine. I've come on this forum and posted things Todd has said as my own and been beaten around a bit for it. I guess if I cloak it in the language of revival then suddenly its acceptable.

He's a liar. He's leading people astray. He's providing false hope. He is cancer. If my problem with that is becoming a problem for you then get over it.

So, you're cool with deceiving people by taking things that Todd has said and claiming them as your own, just to see how they'll respond? IOW, you're using deception to try and prove your point?
Allrighty then.

If you're secure in your faith then it shouldn't bother you. I don't really like Benny Hinn or Rodney Howard-Brown. Do I come on here every day and spew forth my feelings on them? No.
I'm not obsessed with them.
I also feel that there are many who misrepresent Bentley. I'm not even a huge fan of him! I feel like the jury is still out.
But it bugs me that he's JUDGED before he can essentially give his case. I think Pete makes a great point. People who post videos keep posting these 30 second blips. 30 seconds tells me nothing. I've watched these Revivals, and you see Jesus worshiped for hours. I come on these forums, and the people obsessed with Bentley say Bentley is obsessed with angels. That tells me that they have no idea what they're talking about.

Ya, what he said, because I had a problem trying to say it better.

Do you know why I love this line? Because it shows you have stopped seeing people as people, and see them as objects that either support your ideas or oppose them, but either way are not worth taking the time to try and understand. This minimizes the fact that they may have desires like you do, may have understanding a bit different than you, but it's not important, they just need to get over themselves.

Ananias and Sapharia were judged also, yet it wasn't Peter that did the judging when it happened. Should we condemn Peter or realize who was speaking through him when it happened?
Each of us are given The Holy Spirit inside to know the better of things and to discern good from bad in our walk. When we fail to lean upon Him and continually seek our answers from Him over anyone else and their opinions,... we become misled.
It is a discipline to lean on The Holy Spirit this way while denying those around us and their opinions, a straight up discipline in our lives. Only GOD is true and knows the truth, so only HE will give us a truthful answer in all our situations.
The Holy Spirit witnesses against Bentley and his unworthy walk before everyone, and I accept His witness and revelation inside over personal opinion to the contrary. Case closed for me.

Now now pete, he's prolly been doing that for a while. And didn't say a thing about it until now. So it was probably for his own education that he did it. I can't fault him for that. That's what humans do. If you want to fault him for learning something, I guess you can....but seriously.

I have no problem with him doing that, and I've done that very thing myself, but don't you find it at least mildly ironic, that to prove that TB is deceiving, one would use deception?

Could be wrong here, but Moriah understood Faulty to be saying when he has shared similar ideas to TB's and tried to share them here he has been beaten up for it but because TB cloaks his in the language of revival others listen instead of tearing it apart. Why do you find a need to accuse him all of a sudden?

As the Masons say, "nay, after you." ;)
Seriously, though -- TB needs no armchair defenders. If his teaching and his "work" does not establish him in others' eyes as sent from God then no amount of cheerleading from the peanut gallery will avail to do so either.
Not worth striving against a brother this way over, IMO.

Let's leave TB specifically out of this a moment ...
So this would be your response to someone concerned that millions get being led astray? That it "should not bother" a Christian to see that happening?? That only those insecure in their own faith would be disturbed by that and want to do something about it? Sorry, but must completely disagree here.
Granted, not everyone has the best methods of making a point, even a point they feel led by God to make and place in front of others. But that does not wholly and completely invalidate their concern for fellow believers, let alone indicate any kind of insecurity in their own faith.
I also feel that there are many who misrepresent Bentley. I'm not even a huge fan of him! I feel like the jury is still out.Watched three FULL LENGTH broadcasts each over an hour, one of them 2 hours. TBH, not impressed. BUT admittedly, difficult to tell what bes REALLY going on just seeing it on a vid feed on the internet. However, when it sees old ladies forced to trudge wheezing around a stage till they nearly collapse this does not suggest "healed" to Moriah's mind. And as inspiring as small children battling cancer bravely with smiles and verbal expressions of faith might be, that does not mean they will receive healing from it. They might, sure -- but the point being here that having them up on stage testifying to the depth of their faith BEFORE receiving healing bes INSPIRATIONAL ... but not proof of miraculous healing. Will he have them return in 2 weeks to share documented proof from the doctors? Even JESUS told many He healed to go get it verified.

So then, are you accusing me of accusing Faulty of accusing Todd?
And now, I'm accusing you of accusing me of accusing Faulty of accusing Todd.
That's why all these threads about Todd are just silly. Someone accuses Todd. Then someone comes in and accuses that person of accusing Todd. Then more people will come in accuse the person who accused the other person who accused Todd.
It makes my head hurt. ;)
No one really accomplishes anything, other than we all just end up accusing one another. Accusation begets accusation.
