View Full Version : A report on the Associate evangelist of Todd Bentley

No this is not a debate! LOL (Mods feel free to move this if it goes into a debate because I am not sure where to post this at.)

So okay there was this evangelist speaking about 75 miles from where I live and he was supposed to be a part of Todd Bentley's evangelists that he sends out and I am curious. I go! What a hoot! I loved him! Yeah it was a-okay!

Now here is my report and my experience.

I was late getting to the service because of a detour but since I knew the church real well, I felt free to walk in late and knew that no one would mind or notice. :) Okay so they are singing and it is a very long worship service. Like I was an 1/2 hour late and it went on another hour after that. It was nasty long and kind of repetitive. Not my style of music so that could be why I thought it was long and nasty. :) Don't worry about that part okay... So my cellphone vibrates and I looked and saw it was an emergency and I go out and answer the telephone call so I didn't get to hear them take the offering. Disregard that because it might have been fine. LOL :P So then the evangelist (deliberately not telling which one) So the evangelists opens it up with being real and telling these neat stories about some funny things we all do and then was able to bring it around to the sermon, which was not new information.... BUT HEAR THIS
.........the evangelist is telling a personal story and testimony of something God had done for he and his wife.......and in the middle of the process was a guy who the evangelist was able to lead to the Lord Jesus Christ and witness to and then he shares how the guy died from cancer. The evangelist shares how God had a far more meaningful work to do in this guy's life and it wouldn't have happened if it hadn't of been for the cancer. I about fell out of my seat. This is the first time a healing evangelist told it like it is and didn't make anyone feel guilty for not getting healed. The things spoke in this service were vital and then I still think people missed it. I took a friend with me and we went and sat down in one of my favorite places and I looked across the church and there was the old church people I used to go to church with and I didn't want that distraction which is why I left and went so far away from home ...they never once spoke or acknowledged us at all ...it was a trip and a half. Anyway after he got done speaking he invited people to pray and he said 'YOU DON'T NEED HANDS LAID ON YOU to receive.' I love it!!!! Then this guy about my age sat down beside me and he was rather nice and I told God I wanted to claim him. ^_^ I kind of giggled to myself and kept that between me and God and then I looked and he had a wedding ring on and so I knew that I had to get rid of the claim ^_^ :D :D :D Don't ask me why I included this in the story but I guess I did didn't I?

The worst part about the whole service was the worship service and the person saying just press in to God and tell Him.. So I said, "God I don't dig repetition and neither do you so tell me another way to say it and mean it... LOL... I just stayed reverant while others done their thing but for me, it was like God and I already had our chats and He knows what I want to give Him and how I need to get from Him to give it to Him so it is a-okay. There was nothing wrong with the services....no performance trap... very tender and sensitive speaker. I was quite impressed.

Just for the record... I didn't think I would like it and I was sure it wouldn't be as Godly as it was. I did have a preconceived notion. :P

New Song, you are not the only person who has had similar experiences, and I am very please that our Lord Jesus Christ had spoke to you through the Holy Spirit.

Just take what you have received, but don't build your life upon it. Move on.

I could share with you many incidents of the Holy Spirit in my life, with confirmation after confirmation. This is the life to maturity and understanding AND MOST OF ALL BECOMING ONE OF THE CRUCIFIED ONES.

In fact go to http://www.meatindueseason.net/ then click "ENTER", click "WHAT'S NEW", click "The Crucified Ones", and download the free book.

Be blessed in Jesus' Name.

Saying you don't want any debate is just saying,

"I don't want you to disagree with me"

"I just want you to agree with me".

I discern you have voices New Song ... I pray it is the voice of God:

"Then this guy about my age sat down beside me and he was rather nice and I told God I wanted to claim him. ^_^ I kind of giggled to myself and kept that between me and God and then I looked and he had a wedding ring on and so I knew that I had to get rid of the claim ^_^ :D :D :D Don't ask me why I included this in the story but I guess I did didn't I?"

Whatever Gee?!? You know the intent of my heart??????

I was saying I don't want to instigate anyone but since you started it, look back up there and can see that I also issued the invitation to the mods to move the thread to the debate forum since there are people out there like you that love to debate things. It is fine with me. BUT who are you going to debate with because it isn't going to be me.

Have a blessed day Gee .........l

Awesome book. I've been passing that book around for quite some time. Do go read it, and be encouraged.

Each week (for years) I check the weekly newsletter of the (google it) james Randi Educational Foundation, and this weeks first story is about this Todd person.
Just thought I'd give you a heads up.
Note: James is a long time skeptic who goes around exposing frauds, health scammers, and tries to get proof of supranatural things (fruitlessly).

I'm so glad you enjoyed, and I wish I could have been there too. Sounds like a great meeting. This is what I like about TB and the meetings there - they are not religious at all. It's not about TB or the person praying, it's about you and God. Todd has been very careful not to give ammunition to his opponents in the way he has been giving all the glory to God, to Jesus.

That's for sure ... anti-Holy Spirit in this quote taken from the web page Howard Dean pointed to:

Then tell me this, Holier-Than-Thou, just what has this mythical “Holy Spirit” of yours done, and where’s the evidence for it?

Sorry, I chided you New Song ... your thread does belong over here.

You have said that you didn't want to tell us who the associate of Todd Bentley was so as not to cause a debate, right?

Now it's a debate and these are Todd Bentley's friends:

Do a google on just three of them, okay (I made 3 suggestions in bold)...

Stephen Strader
Heather Clark
Roy Fields
Rick Pino
Peter Wagner
Bill Johnson
Che Ahn
Patrica King
Rick Joyner
Bob Jones
Bob Conners
Steven Hill
John Arnott
Ryan Wyatt
Joshua Mills
Dr. Lance Wallnau
Rob DeLuca
David Hogan
John Paul Jackson
Pastor Killpatrick
Paul Cain
Shawn Bolz

And Christians' worldwide would do well to heed God's commands and avoid Wendy Alec, Todd Bentley, God TV, and the Florida Outpouring/Lakeland revival at all costs.

I don't care if you chide me a little, if you can't take it. :) As far as the friends, I don't really get into these things too much. I am a pretty basic person any more and don't go where God don't want me to go. As for the services, the one I went to was not a bad service. The only reason I withheld the name of the associate was because it would target my whereabouts.^_^ And we all have been taught by our mommy's and daddy's and friends and TV that internet is not a safe place. So that's all. Since I live on the Pennsylvania border ...this could have been Ohio, PA, or NY services. So simple isn't it and not at all spiritual of me. :)

You are fine GeeTrue. I am not defending what I seen or did. That is between me and God and what I shared, I shared simply for those who were wondering because I knew the skeptics would not bite. Okay?

Have a super day!

Just a comment here, we had associates of Todd's at our church for a week too, a fortnight ago, people are hungry for more of God, new ministries are being birthed, people are being saved, people are being healed, we have been running in revival for 2 months.

Just watch out for the hook still yet to come ... TB is paying too much attention to the raising of the dead than he is to save one sinner in the audience.

It's hype to get you closer to trusting how they talk to angels, how they anoint, how they speak of going to heaven, how they have experienced a portal you can go through, the ring of fire that TH has people go through.

All of these clues should be enough of a warning that God knows who hears His voice.

TB nor his associates hear God ...

God is testing us on this big time ... it's an open book test.

St John 15:13=14

“Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted. 14 Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch.”

.....Bottom line is that Fresh Fire Ministries couldn't verify at least three of the many, many reported healings for ABC's Nightline news show.
Not good said, "God TV" so they pulled the live showing of the Florida Revival .....

The internet would've been very usefull in the first century. You could have done a google on Jesus and what the people were saying versus what the teachers of the law were saying. You could have researched
Pontius Pilate the governor, King Herod, Nero even who Judas was to help make a better determination of all the facts available.

If the internet existed in the 1st century, I'm guessing that the internet population would of been 99.9% anti Jesus, since almost all the world was pantheistic and non jewish.

Wow, talk about pre-beta. I wonder, did they even have CDs then, and if so, did they call it "burning" them, or scribing them?
