Being born again through Christ

I have just recently joined the Baptist Church after 10 years. During my teenage years I was caught up in drugs. God called on me to leave that lifestyle and I joined the Church. To my shame, I left the Church and dismissed my experience with the Holy Ghost to the drugs. I just recently received another calling from God. During this time I believe myself to be born again through the Grace of God and his only Son who died on the cross. This has been a trial for me, and I have often felt like I have already set on the judgement seat of God and he has let me look into my sinful heart. I was wondering if anybody else has had an experience similar to mine? Thank you Jesus for your abundant grace!

this isnt my experience, but it's a true one...my mom told me that she was still married to my dad she would party with them, drugs, beer...ect but she found that she didnt enjoy it, she divorced him and gained full custody of me, only God knows where i would be right now if she hadnt. my family now goes to church together and regularly.

Welcome Mr. Foster,

I myself am a newbie, I have totally walked away, ignored, and distanted myself from Christ and his word. I'm born again as well. There is not a better feeling in this world. There is nothing that you can drink or smoke to give you the same feeling as God has given us.

The people here are truly blessed, god has put them here for us to learn from. I look forward to coming here everyday to be blessed.

I really hope that you stay, I bet that we will learn a lot from each other as well.

He gives sight to the blind! Praise God and welcome Brother! There can be no repentance until God shows us our need! We must all see ourselves in relation to a holy, loving and just God. Thanks for the uplifting testimony! Hope to see ya 'round often!
