Avatar not working!

Well, it's showing up as a red x.... When I go to change my living avatar I see what I had, although the layerings all messed up, and I can't change it....

There is a problem of some sort with the Living Avatars. It's not something I have the ability to fix. We'll have to wait for Sir Adrian to have a look.

yeah - If only I had not decided to edit my avatar the other day and it may still be here. But you never know. I hope it gets fixed soon. I miss my little clown avatar really bad. But I kind of sound like a kid saying that. lol.

I see the last plea for help in this horrible situation was 8 days ago.
I just recreated my little lady since I've been gone(mexican jail ) since before these changes came about.
anyhoo,I'd love to see her some where other than my edit thingamabob.so has any one contacted NASA yet?

They don't seem to even making an announcement on it so others won't try and edit, nor will they tell us if anyone is working on it.

I wish I had an estimate for when this can be resolved. I don't. But we are aware that more and more people are affected by the problem as time goes on, and it's up there on the list of things for the systems guy to look at.

I was able to get mine back.... Just go to the edit character screen thingy. It'll look all messed up...Just hit "Apply" or whatever it is to save, and it should revert back to what you had. It worked for me, at least.

Theres no apply. Save avatar does not work. Nor does any other button. Please elaborate?

I just went and looked.... When my avatar was messed up all I had to do is click "save" and it reverted back to normal....

it will eventually - just have to wait...grrrr...I think that if it works again I'll never edit it again for as long as I live or something

I'm adding my name to the growing list. To make matters even worse, profile pictures won't upload... so an avatar made elsewhere can't be added that way either!

The following avatar solutions did NOT work for me:

Uploading a JPG, 120x120 pixels, >100KB
Uploading a GIF, same specs
Linking to a JPG, same specs
Linking to a GIF, same specs

Maybe we need an avatar-fix prayer thread.
