Love it, thanks - it really brightens up my day when I hear this song, I've come to this thread a couple of times to hear this song now - thought I'd better post and express my appreciation.

Much of this was filmed at 770-do
you know if this musical group
is part of Chabad?

I couldn't tell to be truthful. They look kinda generically chasidic to tell the truth. Then again I'm only familiar with the particular hat favored by the lubavitchers and not necissarily any other particular minhagim that would indicate which sect they belonged to.

If I had to have guessed (before you pointed out that it was done at 770) I would have guessed Breslever as all the coolest people are Breslevers. (jk) However, I wouldn't have put money on it given the conspicuously missing peyot.

Very much so, yes. They've said that what they do is a form of shlichut and their dream is that in a few years, you'll see a lot more guys in yeshiva in part inspired by them.

I've always enjoyed EitanG too....he is the first Jewish rapper I ever heard of.
He is with Shlock Rock but also does his own gig..
I especially like Yo Yo (Yarmulke) and he also does one about
hamotzi that I like but don't remember the name of..

Unfortunately the sound quality is pretty back since it was filmed at a concert:

Thanks for the clarification! Like Chava said, what an excellent way of doing Kiruv!

I like it also. Funny, I listened to this song when visiting my brother on the 4th. He was showing me another of his favorite, Matisyahu, and we ended up finding "Shine". and played it several times!

It's one of those songs that get in your head and you find yourself singing it thru out the day.
