Both Jews and Christians are pig-headed and stubborn

Both Jews and Christians believe they have the truth

Both Jews and Christians think they are right

Both Jews and Christians feel the need to defend their "corner" to the bitter end

Both Jews and Christians say they worship HaShem

Both Jews and Christians say they seek righteousness

Both Jews and Christians say they want to live a holy life

So both Jews and Christians need to come before HaShem, repent, seek forgiveness then make restitution with each other

So that each can fulfil the commandment in the Shema to worship only HaShem and love your neighbour as yourself.

None of us need to wait until Elul to do this, HaShem will reveal to each of us who we need to go and make restitution with, PLEASE start today before we rip each other apart.

This wasnt just written for Jews - it was written for both Jews and Christians - pride gets in the way for both of us, I believe we all need to repent.

Let us all concentrate on our own behaviour, rather than pointing out other peoples. HaShem is interested in us all as individuals and I want to encourage people to get right with him, and then with each other, pointing our other peoples failures is not the way to go.

seems to me that we each have times of being less than the best of representatives of our respective communities - as as ZM said.... we could all do with a bit of T'shuvah/Repentance (depending on your community)
