This is not about violating any forum rules. Rather it is a poll. It can be totally anonymous and is merely an indication of the climate in here.

Why not "just a man and not a prophet at all"?

Why not "just a man and not a prophet at all"? Exactly.

I believe in such a way that can't be answered by this poll. ;)

but I would add "and not moshiach"
Unless of course the poll is only limited to Christians/Messianics....

Possible, but it doesn't seem like it or else the OP wouldn't make a point to say that the poll was private so as not to violate forum rules.

Mod Hat
sorry folks I hope you understand but this needs be in MW reason being that comments made could get folks in trouble here
it breaks the rule about baiting.....
Flaming, baiting, trolling, or feeding trolls is not allowed. This also applies to groups. In other words, play nice, don't hurt others, nor call them names.
I know you mean well John but I need to move it.....I would like to discuss this with any one who wants to PM me...will move it to MW and leave a redirect so you can visit it there ok?
Mod hat off

Why not do a poll on the Messianic Way forum with the statements ya'll want leaning toward Yeshua not being Messiah.

Some might, justifiably, need to tick more than one!

Umm, I really think there should have been a "none of the above" option. THe "deceiver" option doesn't really represent normative Judaism. nor is it representative of history, as there is no proof that this was the position of the Beit Din. In fact there is considerable evidence to say it was something else (As in never happened).

note, the NT is not a reliable source on Judaism of the second temple period.

None of the above, just on terminology alone.
