I have been talking to a whole lot of you who would like one and it seems this is needed ASAP but just to be sure I have to ask one more time for a vote....
Here is the poll.... Are you for a Fellowship Forum in UT or are you dead set against it? ....the poll wil be up shortly ...

I guess I don't really understand what the point of the forum would be?
How would it be different from this one??

Wouldn't it be a "leave the guns at the door" forum. We could enjoy each other's fellowship without having to defend ourselves. Just good conversation?

How boring would that be, LOL?
Have you seen how dull the MJ forum has gotten? ;):D

What we have here should work just fine.

There was no option for me, so I didn't vote.

I thought this was the fellowship forum. I can feel the love.

I also do not see the point. I think the MJ is fine for fellowship. We already have it. I think MJ should be the main forum for fellowship. From there, we all have little nooks and crannies to run to already.
I think things here within our entire faith group just needs to settle in to WHAT WE HAVE.
That's my opinion.
Edited to add: For pure fellowship, I can leave my non-trin comments at the door, Jews can leave there "I don't believe Yeshua fulfilled it all" comments at the door, trins can leave their "Father, Son and Holy Ghosts" at the door. Ya know? Just fellowship? How's your life? How's your relaxing time with God going lately? How are the kids? What's for dinner? How do you get your family to pray at a restaurant? That kind of thing.

If your against it please vote no:thumbsup:

I'm not actually "against" it though. I'm neutral.

I couldn't care less one way or another at this point.

Where is the vote for, "I could care less"? Why is this being pressed? I thought quite a few of us were saying just leave things alone for a while. Oh well. I'm going to vote no. But it doesn't mean no forever. It just means LET THE DUST SETTLE.

That's a good point.
Okay... I can go with that.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see how there is any way that levity is going to exist between the two groups. Perhaps people should stop pretending?

I do think there is a difference between expecting "levity" and expecting the kind of flamethrowing that has been going on of late. I'm downright embarassed by what I've seen. But is a fellowship forum the answer? I'd rather see the main forum cleaned up. The stuff going on shouldn't be tolerated. It is bad behavior and worse writing. Of course, that's my less than two cents worth.

Embarrassed why?
ETA: Oh nevermind. I asked that before you edited your post to include "But is a fellowship forum the answer? I'd rather see the main forum cleaned up. The stuff going on shouldn't be tolerated. It is bad behavior and worse writing. Of course, that's my less than two cents worth."

I'm not. I will never cease to stand in defence of my fellow Jew. Never.
I don't care what other people believe as long as it doesn't threaten us.

I think that we should give it time to shake out so we can see what we have before we start tweaking

People keep saying this. I'm part of that "pretending" group, except I'm not pretending! ^_^ I don't get it. Are we seriously all so intolerant? We really can't get along? If everyone could just be mindful of his fellow poster and ask questions BEFORE getting upset, we might actually break down some barriers. Through all the fighting, I think we actually already have.
I think that we should give it time to shake out so we can see what we have before we start tweaking :prayer:

So I will request the new Messianic Way Fellowship forum for Jews and MJs to fellowship together:thumbsup:

I'm for it as long
as there is a way to clearly separate the idea that because it is in UT that it is open season as a debate forum.... not excluding debate at all... but I've seen a tendency to try to turn many threads into debate or for folks outside to enter a thread for the purpose of debating.... this seems to set the stage for some vociferous exchanges

I thought the purpose of such a forum was to be explicitly fellowship, no debating at all? At this point, I think it will be a dead forum, which is really too bad, but I just don't think there's enough fellowship left after the name-calling, accusation and blame that's been flung at the Jews on this board (CF) -- and the Jewish members' willingness to finally speak out against it en masse.
