Today, as I was driving home in my car, I was listening to a Catholic radio program called, "As the Spirit leads". They were discussing how powerful the event was on Sunday where Ema De Guzman was giving a healing service at mass along with three priests who con-celebrated the mass. Some people were calling into the radio station sharing their various experiences and healings that took place at this event. One lady in particular, was sharing how when she was prayed over by Ema and the priests, that she was slain in the Spirit. While she was slain in the Spirit, she said that she had an apparition of the Blessed Mother and also Padre Pio. She said that the Blessed Mother was crying because so many of her children are going to hell. She also stated that people need to come back to her son because Jesus is returning soon. The amazing thing about all of this is that the lady who had the apparition of our Lady is totally blind.

Yet.. Jesus says in the Bible that only the Father knows the hour of the parusia. So how can the Virgin Mary know the secret that only God the Father knows???? This really puzzles me... probably does you too, right? so.. any theory? :confused:

We will never know the exact hour of the return of the Lord, you are correct; only our Father in heaven knows that. We will,however be able to recognize the signs of His return, which are also spoken of in the Bible. These signs are happening now all around us. I personally believe that one of the main reasons that our Lady has been appearing all around the world in the twentieth century, and in this century is to prepare the world for the return of Jesus. Is it any coincidence that the first day that our Lady appeared to the visionaries at Medjugorje was on June 24th, which is the feast day of St. John the Baptist. He was the one who prepared everyone for the first coming of Jesus, and our Lady is the one who is preparing the world for His second coming.

I see no reason to be confused about this. Mary could easily know that He is coming back soon without knowing exactly when. :)

I believe she knows as well. Maybe it is only for us humans, that we will never know the hour. But all of heaven is united with the Father, so maybe that is why Mary would know. Not sure :scratch:

I also believe God has granted this time period as a great time of Grace. And allowed our Blessed Mother to appear to the masses, so that she can turn as many as she can back to her Son. That is what this grace period all about. The time God has given us though may be running out. People have still not listened.

Our Blessed Mothers heart is vary sad because she knows what the end result will be for her children. She is working relentlessly against the darkness of satan for the vary souls of her children. And with all she has done and as many places as she has appeared giving messages, people still do not turn their ways from corruption, and selfishness back to God.

But, some do! Praise God:prayer: If more people banned together and prayed a rosary a day for the state of the world, and for people to turn back to Christ, can you imagine the victory heaven would have.

God has given us all of heaven for our assistance, all we have to do is pray and turn to him.

Where I get confused is when people don't see this. I don't understand how they cant. And why it is so hard for people to turn to Him. What makes them so stuck to their lives here, and them selves.

I am not a holy roller or anything like that, and certainly have many short comings, sin daily, and have many things to work on. But I seriously don't understand how others cant see it (the assistance of heaven), that helps us through anything.

Hawko, that was an amazing story you heard. Glad you shared it. I wish we heard more things like this. It gives people hope. It gives me hope!
