What suggestions would you make as far as reading material goes for a four year old? Thanks and God bless.

my daughter and I are currently reading the Chronicles of Narnia to my 4 & 7 year old grandsons - both are enjoying it greatly

as an aside - my experience raising and reading to children, they can listen above the recommended reading level

also - are you specifically looking for Christian books, or just good books in general? Reason I asked is because there is a great reference book out there - the author has updated several times since the first edition I purchased ~20 years ago. I reviewed and purchased many books for my children based on the recommendations in this book.

I'm just looking for Christian books. Anything that would complement The Bible and has everything from Genesis to Revelations in it would be great. Illustrations would be a plus also!

There are some very good children's editions (with pics) of Pilgrim's Progress

Here's one geared to a 4 year old:

Let me do some thinking and some research and I'll post more
