Just wanted to let everyone know that I am now back on the Chaplaincy team... which means I'm no longer a mod for CCR.

The advisors approached me a week or two ago and specifically asked me to come back on as a chaplain, so I agreed. Looks like it became official today.

Don't worry.... I'm not abandoning CCR. I'll still be in here on a regular basis, even though with the number of great mods you have now you would do just fine without me.

Blessings!

Wrong!
You are part of CCR. That means you cannot be replaced.
So, be sure to show your face here on a regular basis.

Hopefully, my situation will improve and I will be back again very soon too.

Ok... what does a chaplain here do ?

What is required of him ?

I have some free time , and a Masters Degree in Theology, and write a weekly bible study for prisoners and go into our county jail as part of a team, and minister the 3rd and 5th saturday if there is one , each month ...

The requirements have changed from time to time, so I really don't know what they are at the moment. I believe that one is required to be ordained/licensed with their particular denomination... I don't remember the educational requirements.

CF has always tried to have chaplains representing a variety of backgrounds to be able to best minister to our diverse demographic.

I would suggest contacting the advisors (Meh is a good start) and they can direct you to the current process.

Blessings!
