Look at the heels of those boots, Now these will never wear out.Those are ice cleats. Also look closely at the tip of his one boot. There's small cleats at the tip of the toes. They didn't work too well for him. That's why they lost the war. :P

I had direct conversations with a "Wache Fuhrer" of the old Gross Deutchland elite guard that guarded Hitler. He actually stayed at my house for 6 months in the late 70's. Walter related many true accounts about his time in Berlin guarding Hitler and then asking Hitler personally for a tank command on the Russian front. Even as a old man he was formidable and an intense character.

Did he mention that way Hitler died?
Is it true about poisoning and burning the body?
