SAD NEWS...

Please join me in remembering a great icon of the entertainment community. The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and trauma complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71.

Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, and Captain Crunch. The grave site was piled high with flours.

Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and lovingly described Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded. Doughboy rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes. Despite being a little flaky at times he still was a crusty old man and was considered a positive roll model for millions.

Doughboy is survived by his wife Play Dough, two children, John Dough and Jane Dough, plus they had one in the oven. He is also survived by his elderly father, Pop Tart.

The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes

Also buried today was the man who invented the Hokey Pokey.

Unfortunately, the pall bearers had a heck of a time with the body because they'd put his one foot in, then would have to take his one foot out, then put his one foot in again and shake it all about...

Talk about a soft pillowy job. 71 years? Not a lot of turnover in his profession

Yes, it was a cream puff of a job.

He must have made a lot of bread in his career. I'll bet his kids are now rolling in the dough.

His life was not as happy as it appeared on the surface, everyone was always giving him the finger.

Sure, they made turnovers all the time down on Pepperridge Farm. Fortunately, he didn't have to be the spokesperson,or spokesbread, er, showbread (HAHA) for that one. This joke (a whole batch of them really) has gotten quite a rise out of you.

Did you hear about John Dough? He's the "gangster" one. He always says, "This is how we roll!"
