Was it this forum, Rev? It's been happening in other forums for a few weeks now and I haven't heard of it yet. I'll try to hunt it down later this morning and approve it. It's a glitch in the system.

There is a glitch in the system, and threads and posts randomly get queued as needing approval before being posted publicly. It happens to a handful of threads/posts each day, and it seems to be randomly distributed among people and forums. Earlier this morning I checked the moderation queue and approved four threads and six posts since yesterday.

Basically, if you are not posting in Recovery (the only forums that legitimately use the 'approve' feature), and you get that message, it is in error. Let a mod know that you need to have your post/thread approved. Or you can wait for someone to approve it. Since we know about the bug there are a couple of us who check the moderation queue regularly, so it shouldn't take long for your post/thread to be approved.

Rev, I had that happen to me over in the Rep-A-Holics subforum in Blessings Exchange last week. I figured it was because I had posted three web addresses in my post.

Yea I just posted a link on another thread also and got the "approval" thing. Let's see if this message posts right away.

Yep ZEC. It must have something to do with posting a link

Ok, I found your posting, Rad and approved it!!

If it happens again guys, put the thread where you posted in here so I can find it easily.

You're right, it did happen because of the link...it was marked as Spam. yeesh.

Matt likes spam. I blame his bachelor years.

But I still get him a can every Christmas...

I never got into Spam, but I did used to get the tinned corned beef when I was in college. Cheap, salty meat, easily crumbled with onions and potatoes in a quick skillet fry-up.

Did you know that Spam now sells canned turkey? It was on sale at our grocery and I bought four cans. Three for the food box at church and one for us to try. It's not bad at all.

Oh, and you HAVE to check out the Book of Spam (http://www.spam.com/whatisspam/)... It will answer your Spam questions (and if you click on the fairies they giggle)

spam is really good when it is fried in a cast iron skillet to the point of being crispy and almost burned.

Well, the home of Spam is not far from me. Yep, they even have a museum. Even the Culver's in that town sells a Spam sandwich.

I love Spam haiku:

Thousands of years on,
Civilization is gone.
Only SPAM endures.

I have a friend whose name is Sam. He does not like brie, which is something I often bring to parties because it is a treat to me.

he says:

"I do not like the yuppy cheese. I do not like it if you please." and then launches into the whole Green Eggs and Ham thing.

Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

There aren't many piggy parts that you can't eat. With the advent of "Mechanical Separation" in-edible pig parts are at an all time low!:D

Man, salo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salo_%28food%29)sounds very yummy... and completely unhealthy!

I beginning to think the the AMA and the FDA don't know what is really healthy food since they keep taking food items off and on their "beneficial" list constantly over the years.

Nonsense. All my relatives (great-grandparents, etc) ate it all their lives and they all died in their 90s.

My sister tells people she is 5-feet-nothing.
If she comes to the reunion you might have "much" to discuss ...

At one time they were saying, no more than 2 eggs a week.

Now they are saying that the cholesterol in eggs is actually good for raising the good cholesterol in a person, or something to that effect.
So, they recommend eggs now.
