Has anyone heard of this documentary before? It looks great. The only information they have on youtube for is is:
Short preview of a "A Pilgrim's Way", a documentary we've made about the Romanian Orthodox church. It begins with lay life in Bucharest and then travels to a monastery, and we end by meeting some of the great Romanian church fathers. It is 73 minutes long and will be released soon.

Hello!
It looks interesting, and I sure am enthusiastic when I see movies about Romanian Orthodoxy. BUT... the one who posted the video has posted another one with yoga. He lives in Danmark, where there are many members of MISA, a Romanian yoga group. And "A Pilgrim's way" is listed as an event in the calendar for 2008 at Natha Yoga Center.

The founder of Natha Yoga Center seems to be Gregorian Bivolaru, who is also the founder of MISA.
Then, I remember reading many times that some consider hesychasm to be some kind of meditation and the Jesus Prayer a mantra. And they consider Orthodox monasticism some kind of a lesser way to reach illumination.

I am curious to see the movie, but I don't think it will trully represent Orthodoxy.
God bless!

It seems the director is the one who posted the trailer, Mironel de Wilde. According to:
http://www.exmisa.ro/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=69
Mironel is a fan of "Narcis", had a Romanian girlfriend, spent a few months in an ashram in Bucharest and then left with Narcis.
On the same page we find out Narcis Tarcau is also known as Swami Vivekananda Saraswati.
And according to this page:
http://blog.sfx-online.net/?p=32
"Narcis Tarcau is one of Gregorian Bivolaru’s most important disciples. He founded the “Natha” Yoga School in Denmark. He used to boast around that no woman in his ashram managed to stay untouched. Gregorian Bivolaru sent word for him to return to Romania some years ago, due to certain faults kept in secrecy. Narcis Tarcau went to India, where the obtained the title of “swami” from a yoga master."
I think everything is clear.

Oh man, that is not good. I actually liked what I saw in the trailer and hoped it would be something that I guess it isn't.
