This is a rough weekly order subject to special guest interviews or speakers, etc.

This is our contemporary service, our traditional service is four hymns and a sermon, usually including the Lord's prayer and a benediction.

Lets have some other examples???

Mine is a bit different.
Some Sundays we have:
prayer
reading
bible study/questions/discussion
communion
prayer

other sundays we just have prayer.
We don't have any kids on a Sunday - people with children seem to mostly come on a Wednesday or to our other meeting.

That's a great idea to have 5 songs after the message. We have one song and occasionally the worship leader will pick 2. I originally came from a Baptist church that had on average 3 which was also good. It is a wonderful thing to worship some more after the message!!!

We might change the order a tad, but the parts remain the same

Congregational reading of our confession (once a month or so we substitute the Apostles' Creed)
Prayer
Scripture reading
Singing of hymns, Psalms & spiritual songs (generally 2)
Prayer
Sermon/teaching
Singing of hymns, Psalms & spiritual songs (1 or 2)
Lord's Table (includes reading the words of institution from Scripture and prayer with each element)
Doxology (we will occasionally sing the Gloria Patri)
Benediction

We don't pass an offering plate nor do we do announcements during our worship service (if there's something important Pastor may remind folks to read the announcements in the bulletin, but that's about it)

Occasionally we will observe the Lord's Supper, it's on every 5th Sunday..... and it's at the end of the service..... though the Sermon is on it.....
A lot of the Songs are P&W or Shortened Hymns, except for the Closing Hymn which is sung during the invitation, then it is a full Hymn, may even be repeated if needed.... we don't limit that time at all no matter how long it goes on......

Any given Sunday, roughly half of our congregation are non-believers. Since (in our theology) worship is something for God's people alone, and since faith is sparked in the unsaved through the hearing of God's Word, we place worship after the preaching. We don't bar non-believers from attending and participating, but we don't use music as our chief draw. Thus our name: The Bridge Bible Church.

Though our worship is contemporary and our band is high caliber, the exceptional effort put into the creation of quality music is entirely for the glory of God. Our band is called "Worship One", to remind us all that we (the whole believing community) perform for an audience of only One.

That's cool. Our choir is called the "Celebration Choir"....our music minister usually sends them to their seats so they can hear the word/sermon with their family members.
Good stuff.
