Where are the Jews that believe Jesus is not just the son of God.. but the son part of the Father.. co-equal and divine.. as God.. three in one?

that is good, I just find it hard to understand Jews accepting Yeshua as the Messiah, and then not accepting He is God... to me you can't have one without the other.

It's like they never actually modify Judaism.

Anyway, I would like to understand why this is common

Guess it is the same for other denominations anyway... you got alot of liberal Protestant churches who see Jesus as just a man.. or not God but somehow still saviour.

What I know, is if you believe the bible.. Jesus has claims about Himself that put Him as doing the work of God.. being the hand of God... forgiviing sin... He said to Phillip-
when Phillip was asking about the Father something along the lines of- have I been with you all this time and you don't know me? He is saying He is the Father.

In Colossians- all the Godhead dwells in Him fully

Jesus- before Abraham was.. I AM

there are loads more references

Non-trin here and desperately wanting to participate in this discussion! :ebil:

I love discussing why we are so different!

I can say this though (I think). I didn't come to my belief because of any affiliation I've had with any church. (Methodist background, so I was taught trinity) I came to my belief on my own.

They're probably in the other forum area.

Yeh the subject of discussing the trinity in a negative way and discussing non trins is taboo around here.... BUT we have a nice little thread linked from the main forum, to a forum where the discussion can take off in most any dirrection...we need to copy that link in here:thumbsup:

Here we should only stick to positive ways we do believe in the Trinity and not talk about non Trins ok (its the same in all the congregational forums- the negative discussions on the trin are taboo in them too)

Heres where all the people are discussing Non Trin beliefs

hope that helps

Here is the one(1) benefit of the trinity; You can call yourself Christian and no one will say "No you're not."
A non trinitarian will encounter all sorts of denials and arguments if he should say he is a Christian! But, heaven or hell, both will go to the grave/hell, both will be resurrected. SSSooooooo.

The discussion is just a waste of time. Shaul; "Remind them of this, and charge them before the Lord to avoid disputing about words, which does no good, but only ruins the hearers."

Amen!

I actually agree with this. I honestly never knew trinity was such a taboo subject until coming here. I do not believe it is necessary for salvation (edited to add: one way or the other)

I don't argue trinity, or at least not purposely. It's just a favorite topic of discussion for me.
