Faith Guardian (http://christianforums.com/member.php?u=104245) has the signature in question.
It appears to be due to a smilie with javascript. Should we request that the member remove the signature, or is it somehow related to the upgrade?

I don't think allowing users to have Java applets in their profile is a good idea. The problem has nothing to do with the site, so I would suggest requesting removal.

Ok, minor snag here. This signature was generated using a bb code that's installed here at CF
here's the code in his signature.
[sign ][ countdown=July 21, 2008]my last day at work![/countdown ][/sign ]
without the spaces in the sign and countdown tags
Will you need to remove this bb code?

Can we disable this code, perhaps? I have had similar issues with Java applets.

Hm... there might be a better way to do it. However I'm not familiar with that code so I still suggest disabling it for now.

Who can disable it?

Looks like his sig has crashed it now has a red X now where I guess the count down timer was.

I don't see a red x, just a blank sign where the counter should be. Do you know who is able to add/delete bbcodes? It's something on the admin control panel, but the ability is usually restricted to sysadmins on most forums.

I will ask ProfMom to look at this.

Done.

Is it also removed from the forum BB codes that members can use? Otherwise the problem will crop up again and again. That's my concern, more than one specific signature.
