Find all posts by user deactivated?

When you try and find all the posts by a given member, the following message pops up.


Privacy statement in function, Searching has been disabled for this members's posts.


It appears to be the same for everyone. Is there a way to be turned back on?

This is just a guess, but I'd imagine that's enabled until they fix the privacy functions on the profile. I believe that was on the to do list.

Its cuts us off from keeping up with friends.

It is only if a person has chosen not to allow members to find their posts through their profile that you should see this message now.

Hint: try "advanced search."

It is an alternate way to find recent posts. Just type in the username, leave the keyword part blank, and click on the "posts" option instead of the threads one.

Of course it is a lot more convenient to just be able to click "find all posts" under someone's username...

i hope this gets fixed soon. i hope its atleast on the list of things to fix. it was a great feature we used to have.

Sorry - I thought I was still subscribed to this :doh: I had heard that the permissions had been fixed with confidentiality, however I didn't realise they hadn't changed the find all posts at the same time :doh:

It definitely should be fixed now though from what I know. I just tested it with my sock account and it is working fine for me. :)
