View Full Version : CF constantly freezing Firefox now

Ever since the upgrade, CF has been constantly freezing my Firefox browser. Very often CF will freeze at a white screen without loading, and it either completely freezes or severely slows down Firefox.

Make sure your Java is current. Download it here (http://www.java.com/en/).

My Firefox is fine... and I'm running on dialup.

My browser is freezing up, especially when I edit the characters and my Java is the updated version.

Firefox is kind of iffy for me. Sometimes it's fine, sometimes I get timed out, and I did just get the new Java download the other day.

For the record, I use Firefox, along with a snot-load of plug-ins and extensions, and I have had no "freeze-up" problems.

I have not experienced this with Firefox and I have used Firefox since even before the upgrade.

I was having problems until I blocked the ads on this site, and now the browser is running smoothly. I think those ads are more destructive on browsers than anything else.

Ah... Now THAT could explain why I don't have the problem.
