please pray for my great uncle

my great uncle has cancer, sadly im not sure what kind. He had been taking medicine and treatments for it, and was doing pretty well...but about a month ago his doctor told him that his body wasnt able to take anymore treatments or anything, he gave him up to die. i dont think he told him an exact amount of weeks, but im pretty sure its just a few months. we're all going over after church to see him sunday, pray for my uncle bc of his illness, and pray for me, i dont do too well emotionally in these situationshttp://christianforums.com/images/smilies/cry.gif

yes he's saved...he's just been really depressed and stuff since he's been give up on...he knows he's going to a better place...but you know its still gotta be hard

Yes I know it will be hard, but at least he's saved and going to a better place. There is no harder thing for a Christian than to watched an unsaved loved one pass. Last year my father died, he was unsaved his entire life, but thank God, he was a death-bed convert. After that I had a lot more peace about it.

well sunday has come and gone...the cookout was good for him. he looked good, and he said he felt good, he seemed to like having everyone there. my aunt said that he has his good days and his bad days, i think it had been a bad day before we all got there, but he seemed to brighten up as soon as we got there. i stayed strong and didnt cry, probably bc he was doing well that day. it still doesnt change the fact that he has cancer tho...but at least he's saved.

i think my uncle is doing better, emotionaly of course, since he got to see everyone...just keep him in your prayers..thanks everyone:hug:
