Please,
What is "The Ramp"? How do you define false doctrine? False doctrine according to your own standard? False doctrine because we have not really studied the Bible and really do not know what to do about it? False doctrine as in a revival that challenges you to change? False doctrine as in a message that challenge our complacency, idle worship, and inadequate view of Jesus Christ? Which false doctrine, how do you define it, and who says its a false doctrine? Finally, false doctrine because its not "all those bits of church history of which I approve?"
All The Best,
Greg Norton

Perhaps false doctrine was a bad choice of words....I should've stated...lunacy...a joke....dominion oriented rubbish.
Peace.

I have reviewed the site you suggested, and indeed they are quite "Vineyard" in their theology. That said, the criticisms I might level at The Ramp would be the same as those I would direct toward any number of charismatic churches. Is there a unique characteristic to this ministry that especially disturbs you?

Don't fall for Karen Wheaton's new "youth ministry" called "The Ramp"...it's false doctrine at it's worst.
God Bless.
without doing an in depth search on Google...what is it? or in what you are saying, what is it not?

The most disturbing fact that I witnessed when I watched it on TBN(Lord help me!) one night when I was bored off my skull is the fact that during the "message" part of the services the main point is for the kids to "go back to your churches and bring the revolution...".
Alot of the message is based on the "...the churches you kids go to now...don't do it right....stagnant...."
It's that type of garbage that made me angry. The kids, teenagers that go to these types of things are very impressionable, and although I am sure the majority of the audience is there at this type of "rock concert" style service to have a blast, some I am sure take a lot of things preached to heart. That disturbes the heck out of me.
Peace and God bless.

Basically it's a semi quarterly "youth/revival" type event. It starts off with a live band singing "praise" music...then the main youth group called "The Chosen" takes the stage and does some weird artsy tribal dance, and/or various other types of routines(like a dance crew). This group is all decked out in t-shirts and camo pants(and this sort of dress is standard for every broadcast that I've seen...about half a dozen or more). After they do their thing...a preacher comes out...and gives a "message"...it's what's in these messages that concerns me...see my post above. It is very charismatic in nature....yet seems to be heavily influenced by the "emergent church/dominion theology" movements, almost a weird mix of both. The warehouse it's done in is very dark...like a concert...black stage background...postmodern, youth appealing in appearance. But as I stated, I don't care about the look, as long as the message is of sound scriptural origin...it's the message overall that is almost heretical in nature.
It's on TBN friday nights, at 11:30pm Pacific Time.
If you see the program you will see what I am basically talking about. Perhaps your opnion may be different from my own.
Thanks.
God bless.

honestly I have never heard of it....I will have to check out the program though so I can formulate a more educated decision. It really all comes down to the message though. The other items are of entertainment value.
