I use the thread view as my default, as this permits me to see the conversational order of posts. As the forum is set up now, the currently-read post is marked with a bold font in its title.

Please add a bold horizontal bar with lots of contrast to mark the currently read position. The previous iteration of CF had a bar that marked the current post, but it was a very pale blue that didn't have enough contrast - and now even that is gone.

I noted that within a mere day of complaints, the default gray font color in posts was replaced with black, and that is appreciated more than words can convey

Thanks!
Victor

Well, this morning brings us a new color scheme, so I decided to comment.
The background that has been added (a very pale blue) to the posts is tasteful, albeit I thought it unnecessary (hey, if you're still playing with this, I suggest a pale "parchment" yellow, which is easy on the eyes and looks classy).

Anyway, this same attribute appears in the window for the thread view, where the very pale blue is the general background, and a "bar" that is actually white marks the current post being read. The title of the current post is in bold font, but my appeal is for greater contrast - and neither the bold title font nor the nearly invisible white bar are enough to see with sufficient ease.

The previous iteration of CF was "fluff" that consumed bandwidth.
This iteration is cleaner, and faster to work with. The colors and fonts and general look are clean and tasteful throughout, and it even looks as nice as CARM now
I prefer pragmatic ease of use over fluff n stuff, hence my comments asking for contrast where it helps.
