I don't understand the purpose of this. The info can be put on the regular forum to someone then.

Do you mean the Private Messages Report forum? Or your personal PMs? Or the visitor messages on your profile page?

visitor msg - I was checking someone's profile to see how long they had been a Christian and found I could read their msg. I was very uncomfortable.

Those are Visitor Messages, and they're not the same as Private Messages. Normally, they're just used as a way to give someone a shoutout... but it might be a good idea to make sure that you're typing in the right spot if you have something private to say....
