Your bank isn't gone. There has been some issues with it and I believe the tech team is working on it.

If you received large interest payments on your account and it wasn't in the millions or billions before, all bank totals will be restored to pre upgrade amounts when the glitch is fixed.

Also site supporter features have not been restored at this time I don't believe, we're working on more critical issues before they will be returned.

As I understand it, the programming people are aware of the bank issue and are working on it, but it's not completely up-and-running right just yet.

I know that they do know who had bank balances, so the info is saved and plus YOU know what you had. And slowly but surely they are working on each separate issue. The trouble is that they can't fix all the issues at once--they have to do them one at a time.

Would you like PM me so I can make notes on what you had and what's missing and stuff--so we can make sure?

They don't automatically break off. I plan to close this thread when it hits 2000 and start a new one. Threads that grow much beyond 2000 posts become impossible to use moderation tools on. That's the reason the 1000 post split process was originally designed.

Post about 20 -30 post, so there blessings go from 200 -> 400-500 (it's 10 per post right ? )

Back in the old days (this morning), the ads were stacked vertically on the right-hand side, taking up about 1/6 or so of the screen. The posts were narrowed to compensate.

Now, the ads are in the more typical location for vB boards, immediately following the first post and stacked horizontally.

Hopefully, that'll end the scrollbar issue.

Nothing specific yet, tapero. I was hoping that moving the ads would do it. It's possible that they moved the ads, but haven't yet recalibrated the screen metrics for Site Supporters to account for that (I assume that you're an SS). In short, I dunno.

I think Blessing people still works. Make sure you're using the right boxes--the Purchase Blessings boxes are right above the Bless Someone boxes, so it can be confusing.

Perfectly correct, Ma'am. That will take you to a screen with several white boxes for you to fill in. Don't fill in the topmost boxes--those are for purchasing Blessings. Use the second row of boxes (one should be filled out with the person's name you want to Bless.)

I am having the same problem. It does not get to them, nor does it deduct from my own cache of blessings.

I am clicking the Donate button next to their name, and it fills in their name as the recipient. Next to that I enter my comment to them, and next to that the blessings amount. It just doesn't get to them.

In your userCP you have the choice for editing options. There is a field in that long list which says show other reps yes or no. I believe that'll solve your problem.

One suggestion we're tossing around is that perhaps you need a certain rep level to be able to disapprove.. that way people can't make sock accounts constantly to hurt someone. Either that or a post count minimum? Who knows.. either way, it stinks.

I think they will, because everything blessings related will be reset to where we were Tuesday after the upgrade. I plan to re-bless people I tried to bless with "real" blessings once the dust settles.

Wasn't me, I only test out things like that on myself.
But you should be able to tell who it was by the red box vs the green box in your view rep area.

Everyone is getting 10 blessings per post. I think that *may* go away when they fix the bank, but I'm not positive.

It's like blessings inflation.

By the way, on the question of the rep-down thing:

Someone repped me who is only able to see positive rep, and I noticed that her rep had no impact on my rep (grey box)

This may support the theory that there is a rep-minimum to be able to de-rep someone.

The Grey rep box is normal we've always had that for people that had low post count / no rep power.

I *think* the only way to hide other peoples' rep bars is to disable showing your own Rep--essentially, taking yourself out of the Rep system. That doesn't always work, so I used an ad-blocker to prevent the images for the Stars and Bars from loading at all.

For other things like Health bars, Avatars, or Sigs, you can turn those off in your UserCP.

The repping power isn't working fully I don't believe so it may take a while for it all to work.

Ariella you have to post in your new blog for it to show up - click on user cp - then look down on the left near the end - click on "blog" then when that page opens look to the left and click on "your blog" and then in that toolbar on the left you can click on "post to your blog"

All you can do is link your old blog to the new one, unless you want to do what Angel did, which is copy all the old posts into it so they are all in one place.

When you want to start the new one, go to the Blog in the nav bar and it will take you to the new blogs section. Then you can start a new blog.

In your userCP you have the choice for editing options.
There is a field in that long list which says show other reps yes or no. I believe that'll solve your problem.

You cannot hide other people's rep stuff, you can only hide your own. That is how it has always been.

You can not have both an avatar and a dollie. The dollies are now part of the avatar system, so if you want a dollie, you have to either get rid of your current avatar or put it in your signature.

No, never on staff at all. My site supporter status expired a week or two before the upgrade and I did not renew. I'm not currently showing as a site supporter.
