Hi there,

I am seriuosly considering becoming Anglican. I have been raised Roman Catholic, but I think I prefer the views of the Anglican church as it is more middle of the road. I have some idea of the beliefs of Anglican church, can someone please go over it with me here?

I just want to be sure before I meet with the local Rev. to discuss changing.

Thanks guys

Mel xx

Hi Mel,

You are more than welcome here, you may get more response if you post this in the main forum, I will nhave it moved for you :)

Feel free to PM me, I am a lifelong member of the Church of England and I will help you if I can.

Many people cross both ways across the Tiber, either to or from RC churches, so you are not alone :)

Welcome, Mel!

I hope you don't mind my moving your thread into the main part of the Anglican forum, instead of the chapel. The chapel isn't visited that much, unfortunately!

Anyway, I am one of the three moderators for STR - if you need anything, just call!

Thank you Karen and Tawny.

Yep I realised I had posted in a less frequented section LOL. Thanks for moving it.

I have done lots of research since that post and I have chatted to the Rev. and it is all good. I just need to do my confirmation later this year as I wasn't confirmed in the Roman Catholic Church. So from now on I will consider myself Anglican, and truely consider myself Anglican after my confirmation.

Thank you I will check the links as well over the weekend.

God Bless
