I wasn't sure where to post this question, and the main board didn't seem to be appropriate either, so my apologies if this is the wrong section too.
As the mother of four teen girls, I was wondering if anyone knew of any good books that were written from a torah/faith perspective on "the facts of life", morality, modesty, womenhood etc?
I was wondering if anyone could recommend something.
Please.

I don't know about any books but thought you might enjoy reading this, with all your girls I could see it being a problem

Here's another article

I have heard of a few. One that we read in a young women's course was "Lady in Waiting (http://www.amazon.com/Lady-Waiting-Developing-Your-Relationships/dp/0768423104/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1209820179&sr=8-1)" along with it's study guide.
It was "ok".. but I would have preferred something more on a level of clothing/attitude modesty than on dating/matchmaking and waiting for G-d to bring your mate to you and that kinda deal... not that those things aren't important either.
My sister's congregation (and others I know of) reccommend for folks who are engaged or newly married to read the "For Women Only (http://www.amazon.com/Women-Only-about-Inner-Lives/dp/1590523172/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1209820251&sr=1-11)" and "For Men Only (http://www.amazon.com/Men-Only-Straightforward-Guide-Inner/dp/1590525728/ref=pd_bxgy_b_img_b)" books by Shaunti and Jeff Feldhan along with the "Five Love Languages" books by Gary Chapman (men and women's editions). I haven't read them so I can't really reccommend them or not..
I have heard of some books that I haven't gotten a chance to read yet. . . that are more from an Orthodox Jewish perspective...
The first ones I heard of that are from a modesty perspective (but not overly religious overtones) are "A Return to Modesty (http://www.amazon.com/RETURN-MODESTY-Discovering-Lost-Virtue/dp/0684863170/ref=pd_bbs_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1209820488&sr=1-3)" and "Girls Gone Mild " (http://www.amazon.com/Girls-Gone-Mild-Reclaim-Self-Respect/dp/1400064732/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1209820488&sr=1-2)By Wendy Shalit. It has gotten interestingly mixed reviews in the Women's corner of this forum. She has a blog called "Modestly Yours (http://blogs.modestlyyours.net/)" that has some interesting articles and thoughts from time to time.
I have heard "Secrets of Jewish Femininity (http://www.amazon.com/Secret-Jewish-Femininity-revised/dp/1568713517/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1209820690&sr=1-1)" is good..
I recently heard of this one as well "Hedge of Roses (http://www.amazon.com/Hedge-Roses-Norman-Lamm/dp/0873064348/ref=pd_sim_b_njs_img_3)" which is about the laws of family purity..
Unfortunately, a lot of religious based books are so expensive to get just to read and review... :sigh:
