LOL--that's the personification of the lesser of two evils. Take your pick.

Maybe Benny had some questions about Luther and was doing research. ;)

Well he went to the wrong source. I wouldn't consider Big K and Big B would to be a true represetation of confessional Lutheranism.

Perhaps he'll point that out to them. :) I would imagine he might know a bit more than they do since he was raised in Germany and has been a dedicated academic.

He may know,
but does he understand?

Addendum:

With Big B, Big K, and Big Father R, they could go on the road as an Eclesiastical "Three Ring Circus".... taking entertainment to a new level!

Reminds me of the old Shirelles song

"Mama said there'll be days like this.
There'll be days like this mama said"

It's not his spirit flying. It's his Cessna.

KENNY COPELAND – UNDISPUTED KING OF THE FLYING COWBOYS
· His Cessna Citation 550 Bravo (valued at $3.4 million), PLUS his Grumman Gulfstream II (worth $4.5 million) AND his Cessna Golden Eagle AND his Beech E-55 AND his assorted lesser aircraft AND his own airport all add up to untold millions of poor folks' dollars. But Kenny's masterstroke is the fact that he's now telling the faithful that God wants him and wife Gloria to EACH have their own Cessna Citation Ten super-jets. Flying just below the speed of sound, these state-of-the-art flying palaces carry a base sticker price of $20 million! That means when "God" has his way, the widows and orphans will have "invested" just about $50-60 million in Kenny's Heavenly Air Force.

It's interesting how this quest for the Holy Grail and some spiritual happening can even infest denominations. I mean I would expect it from the aetheists and agnostics but from supposed Christians. It's like they are looking for a mountain top experience or an alien encounter. No difference.

Interesting, 'Popa' speaks with one of our lesser leaders and seemingly ignores the head of the LCMS. Then again, perhaps that's a good thing. Mr. K. is good at going off in doofy directions at a whim and dragging the LCMS with him (Michigan still has nothing over California). I also find it interesting that Luther characterized the Papacy as a figure of the Anti-Christ. Perhaps the greatest of them, the end times A.C. that is so oft spoken of these days, will be a Pope of the R.C. The current one sure looks the part. The guy has all the air about him of a classic Victorian villian.
