Mother being accused of killing her child, who strangled on window blinds

Oh my Lord, this job that you have given me is just so heart wrenching.
A mother in Texas lost her son on the 6th of July. I found her yesterday and spoke with her today. Texas is hard core on child neglect. For some reasons sheriffs take it upon themselves that a dirty house can strangle a child to death.
When Cheyenne died, they interrogated me and my husband for hours.
They took this womans children away from her.
I dealt with this situation last year in Bovina Texas.

I am not sure of all the circumstances, but this I know, A cord strangled a child, not a mother or a fatherir a dirty house. This is outragous!!!!!!!!! And you know what, it happens ALL the time.

oh how sad. may God strengthen you gel, for the emotional difficulty this has got to be for you, as well as for your wisdom in helping this family. and may God show Himself merciful and loving to the Rose family as they go through not only their deep loss, but also the legal process they face.

i didn't quite understand what a dirty house had to do with the situation? are the authorities claiming the house was an unfit environment?

I don't understand it either. But there have been a handful of cases down there in the past few years and everytime, they take the kids away from the parents because the house is dirty or they just think they neglected thier child. Texas is hard core! I am glad I was not living there when Chey died. My house was clean, but the officers did not believe what I was telling them because they had never heard of inner cord strangulation.

This is terrible. I pray that the authorities' eyes would be opened to what TRULY happened and that it would help other families to be more conscious of safety in this area.
