Why does G-d cry on Passover?

I am still getting myself ready for Shabbat and Passover and have the Messianic station on and I am hearing Johnathan Settel singing from his album , the Wall, a song called Through his eyes..............

And I am thinking how HaShem must be crying every Passover as he looks down on Jerusalem and sees his people praying for Moschiah to come but he already did, so long ago in Jerusalem, HaShems Passover lamb.


If anyone has the lyrics to this, I would appreciate if you would post a few lines.

I think also about a Father who has lost His Son to death, remembering that day, and if that doesn't bring tears to His eyes, then He is not as tender hearted as I know He is.
