trust our Bible? Does it have additions, can we know the word of God?

Actually the question is phrased badly, the manuscripts, as we discover older versions maybe incomplete, and yet some verses do not exist in multiple manuscripts. It is all about manuscript evidence. If we ever find autograph on the NT scriptures we will put a lot of debate to an end, but until then we have to look at the overall picture the manuscripts give us.

I voted yes but agree the question should have been much more specific.
Personally, I believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of God's Word and hold it to be inerrant and infallible, though I sometimes differ with my brethren on what actually constitutes God's Word.
In my own study and witness I use the KJV only. I have no more than a superficial knowledge of Greek and no knowledge at all of Hebrew or Aramaic and so am forced to trust in lexicons, dictionaries and grammar guides in my study of the manuscript evidence. I have read much (Solomon had it right in Ecc. 12:12!) in the way of bible history and after several years of diligent study on the subject, have concluded that the Alexandrian text streams and the translations based on them are corrupt and unreliable.
I hesitated to write the preceding paragraph since I have come under fire for my views on translations in the past and have little desire to argue about it now.
My convictions are based on much prayer and study, and I have perfect peace about them. Folks with opposing views will get no trouble from me, I let God's Holy Spirit do His job without offering Him any counsel!
I used to rely on an RSV myself and was a little miffed the first time someone suggested I was using a "corrupt" version!
Blessings to one and all!
The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Psalms 12:6
