I was trying to figure out how I was going to find the room to store the baked cakes, as stacking more than two high always leads to the one one the bottom getting a wee bit squished.

I was thinking of building something and then hubby came up with an idea - Sterilite clear view mini drawers (http://www.sterilite.com/ProductDetail.html?ProductId=479&Section=Storage). There is just enough room to slip a wrapped Manischewitz cake into a drawer. No more squished cakes or brownies!

Just thought I'd pass the idea along.

Maybe I'm not awake yet , ( was up to 4 am finishing up) but why do you need to bake so many cakes ahead?

I don't want to be baking on Shabbat, and I'm serving a couple dozen people for each seder.

Oh, for your Seder, I see, sorry, I wasn't awake! This may help too, and you can keep them wrapped but displayed before serving. :)

They don't need to be displayed - that would just be tempting the kids to get into them. I just want them to take up the least amount of counter space as possible. I can now stack them 6 high without fear of crushing them. :)
